Gordon will be running the #7 Warner Music / Blake Shelton Toyota. Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Georgia track.

FRIDAY , MARCH 5th

 Practice    2:30 - 4:00 pm/et   ( 40th Quickest )
 Qualifying  6:10 - 8:00 pm/et   ( 39th Quickest )

SATURDAY , MARCH 6th

 Practice  11:40 - 11:45 am/et  ( 27th Quickest )
 Practice  12:20 - 1:20 pm/et  ( 33rd Quickest )

SUNDAY , MARCH 7th

 Kobalt Tools 500  1:00 pm/et , green flag at 1:16 pm/et ( Finished 43rd )

From Bam racing blog dated march 5th: There was a slight problem in qualifying inspection: the right rear tire would not droop enough, so the team had to adjust the rear links and anti-roll bar. This changed the right rear of the car and actually made the tire scrub the chassis in the turns during the run. Luckily, Robby knew about the changes and was prepared because the change made the car extremely loose exiting turn 2 – leading to a 39th starting spot for the Kobalt 500 on Sunday. However, the entire team is convinced that the car should be very good in race trim. But that’s a story for tomorrow . . .

Had nothing to do with todays issue. Long runs yesterday in practice had no tire rubs at all.

A couple things I want to comment on. First, today sucked. Considering how good Robby runs Atlanta, this whole weekend was really discouraging. But it is what it is, Let's get ready for Bristol.

Secondly, NASCAR has to go back to the spoiler ASAP. Everytime a car spins backwards at the fasttracks, it seems to go airborne. With the spoiler, I am sure Keslowski would not have gone in the air and it would not be a major issue like it is now.

Thirdly, Everytime I watch those stupid prerace and postrace NASCAR shows, Kenny Wallace takes a potshot at Robby. Its just irritating. I guess I should just stop watching them...

sucks about the tire.....so far the theme of this year has to be "On to next week"......

Well about 1 race and 30 points away from this cup thing going downhill in a hurry.......

Goodyear f''d up...end of story. Ironically, Fox on Sat was going on and on about how G'year really improved since Indy in 08...yeah, right.

After seeing the photos of the 12 car, I think Nascar has even bigger problems than Goodyear...both A pillars are badly deformed...that's a big problem for the so-called safer COT's.
