FRIDAY , MARCH 5th

 Practice    2:30 - 4:00 pm/et   ( 40th Quickest )
 Qualifying  6:10 - 8:00 pm/et   ( 39th Quickest )

SATURDAY , MARCH 6th

 Practice  11:40 - 11:45 am/et  ( 27th Quickest )
 Practice  12:20 - 1:20 pm/et  ( 33rd Quickest )

SUNDAY , MARCH 7th

 Kobalt Tools 500  1:00 pm/et , green flag at 1:16 pm/et ( Finished 43rd )

For god's sake, 4 laps on a the tire is one of two things, construction or puncture. It's not preperation or concentration. It's a bad fucking tire.How many other cautions where caused by tires?

Goodyear's Stu Grant says debris on the track and overly aggressive chassis setups are to blame for the tire issues here during Sunday's Atlanta 500.

"The majority of the cars are looking great. Kurt Busch and Kasey Kahne have been running up front all day, and their tires look great," Grant, head of the company's racing operations, said late in the race.
"Early on we saw a number of clear punctures. Robby Gordon had a punctured left-rear (lap five). Clint Bowyer had a clear puncture in the right-rear. Mark Martin had a punctured left-rear."

Thanks WJM, The dooms-day'ers are wearing on me.Maybe if they had raced more than their neighbor on bicycles as a child they'd have a clue!

actually a couple...the 5, the 11, the 20...and several others had tire issues but got them to pit road before the yellow was tossed.
