USF1 Team looks like it's not going to happen

bigtime rumors about the USF1 team not going to happen . Jose Maria Lopez, the hired driver , is trying to salvage a ride with Campos or another team. Here is a story about the reports. I was looking forward to this, and sorry to see it happen,but you need unlimited funds to do F1.

It'd be nice if RGM could snag some of the equipment. I heard that USF1 had all the ovens and stuff needed to make carbon-fiber body panels and such. I don't know where Robby has this done now, but it would be a good thing to have in house.

If you're calling yourself "US" it's probably a good idea that you have at the very least a North American driver lined up if a US driver can't be found. Actually doing some homework beforehand to see who is eligible to get a F1 license might be a good thing. Hard to find US companies to support basically a European series with South American or European drivers.

I applaud Windsor and Anderson for trying but the "If you build it and they will come" business plan lost its steam when 'Field of Dreams' went to VHS.

I wonder if the kid from Argentina will get his $8 million back.
