Gordon will be running the #7 Monster Energy Toyota.Robby will start 34th on Sunday.Here is the schedule for RGM at the Florida track.

FRIDAY , FEBRUARY 12th

 Practice  1:40 - 2:40 pm/et  ( CANCELLED - RAIN )

SATURDAY , FEBRUARY 13th

 Practice  10:30 - 11:55 am/et  ( 14th Quickest )

SUNDAY , FEBRUARY 14th

 Daytona 500  1:00 pm/et , green flag at 1:19 pm/et ( Finished 28th )

As a side note " It's an F-1 car " is a Robby'ism. RGM/RGOR has a-ton of pride is the product they build and IMO thats Robby's way of show appreciation to his staff. So stop taking it literally! Sheesh.

RG has a good ride for tomorrow, he just needs to chill in the back and then around lap 160, start hitting it hard, he can get up there and no more backing off, wreck em or win it.

I don't literally think they are f1 cars. I guess though I expected more out of "the best equipment rgm has ever turned out. ". I probably should have expected this after those claims with last years road course cars.

I wish Robby well for the race. I have never doubted his ability, but watching the 3-4 years with subpar equipment is a bummer. Also, in my opinion, this latest stuff is not as capable as the cars he had in 2006.

It's because of this that this years schedule with more off road, rally, and possibly Indy cars has me excited. I know how much hendrick spends on CFD analysis alone, the guys at rgm just can't compete no matter how many hours they put in.

Im just glad he's in the race. I still remember '05. That sucked. Ran well in the FOTL car though.

Have fun watching the race today everyone. I will be out at Red Mtn working a D-37 National. I can't believe I'm missing the first race of the season....ughhh. My DVR is set.

Only 6 hours until the start of the great American race. I'm getting off a night shift so I'm thinking I can catch a little shuteye and wake up in time for the green flag. I hope you all enjoy today.

If they decide to run an in-car camera with Robby today, Larry will be losing the lower half of his face. ;>) Probably not a lot to worry about...
