i always thought the air force or navy should sponser the double. they could make it a big show. pick him up in a helicopter at the track then fly him to the airport. then he could get in a thunderbird or a blue angel and fly him to charlotte twice as fast as a private plane

Lot of talk about the double in this thread. Nobody's seemed to notice Rob's said there GONNA be some conflicts in the Cup schedule. Who said Robby's running the 600? Maybe it's not the double...just a single?

I would imagine there will be some kind of announcement with Polaris soon too. He's done an awful lot for them already. Can't imagine there won't be more coming from their end.

enough of all this. . .His Announcement----- Full time Driver for Tiger Woods Motorsports, He will be driving the get away Caddy Monday till Wednesday then Cup racing for the weekend. But only ten races a year while Tiger plays the Majors and the other top tourneys in the States.

Well since he is making the announcement at a NASCAR race, I would presume it would have something to do with NASCAR. Why announce you are skipping the Coke 600 to run Indy Car? So on that presumption, I think it either has to do with his 'new' driver, Andrew Ranger (just kidding...), or that he has full time sponsorship for the #7 all year. It does seem like a lot of work to put the Monster theme on the hauler for only a couple of races. Plus we just got our Monster gear for the race! Woo Hoo!

What time is this announcement to be made? We will be at Daytona on Friday - and would be cool to be there to hear it.
