What do you all think about Robby's 2010 plans?

It sounds like Robby may not be running the full cup schedule, and that may disappoint alot of Robby's hardcore nascar fans. But what he plans on doing during his "off-weeks" has me absolutely excited. Robby says he is looking hard at running the Indy 500!! That alone would be awesome. But add in running the X-games rally race, building and (hopefully) running a monster truck, and running the Baja 500 & 1000. That is unbelievable. I am definitely looking forward to what 2010 will bring us as Robby Gordon fans, and I think it was worth the wait. What do you think??

I just hope that whatever commitments he makes, he keeps. I would definitely be in for a trip to Indy this year with my boy, but I'd be furious if I dropped the $$ and he didn't run it. And, with a partial schedule in Cup, he's got to get in on time from week to week... I love the diversity, though. I've been saying "Screw NA$CRAP" for years now, so I'm glad he's filling his time with other adventures. Being a Robby fan is never boring.....

Yep. I certainly hope he announces his intentions for each race far enough in advance so we can choose to buy tickets or not. I usually go to both Loudon races, but if I knew he wasn't going to be there, I might got to Dover, or Pocono, or the Glen instead.

I cant listen to the replay, but I have not seen where anyone has mentioned Robby and Short Course racing for 2010. He has a new truck with one race under its belt, Traxxis came a bored on the Dakar effort, and Traxxis is a huge supporter of the TORC series. And then on the West coast you have the LOORS short course series. I guess I'm just surprised nothing about that was said.

That's true Nikal, he didn't mention anything about running the TORC series or running the prelude for that matter. Was the car RG ran at Eldora his own, or was it again one of Bloomquists? I'd bet that Robby will run one of the Crandon events this year, just not sure which one. I could also see him running in Perris. The X-games rally race is in August right? If Robby is planning on building a new car for Dakar, maybe he'd consider running different rally first. Like the Silk way rally perhaps. TOG should put up a map each week and we can play a game of "Where's Robby?"

Things will develop as the year goes on. Just glad Robby got the companies he needed to step up, because it makes other things much easier to fall in place for him than it could have been.
