The page header provides us a clue. Daytona's sponsor is Space/Time Continuum.
I feel a metamorphosis coming....increase speed to 200!
i see color changes starting to happen.. my first guess..... Freightliner.
That would be huge...as that means we have 9 races sponsored (and perhaps more if Freightliner signed on for more)...I believe the 8 are accounted for between Menards and Polaris.

I will go on the record saying that if I win the current Mega Millions jackpot worth over 120 million (or any big lottery game worth over $100 million) I will pony up $7 million to cover the other 28 races ( as I imagine $250 k per race should cover the hood)...
Thought the same thing buying my ticket friday...Sadly I won't be picking up the tab for the 7's shoes any time soon, but there is always the next drawing../?...?and the next...and the next :(
Update: FFR forms alliance with RCR which will lock it in the top 35 with the 07 points. Now forcing the 70 team outside the top 35 but Labonte has PCP.
Hmmm I think the 71 is still locked in....of the locked in teams from last year that have "went away" the #26 became the #26 with that new owner dude...

The #07 is goign to the 78....

That leaves RPM and Yates #44 and #96 unclaimed top 35 teams and the 71 was 37th in Owners pts last yr (with Speed being 36th).

Those 2 spots if unclaimed bumps Speed and then Labonte in to the top 35...

This all being said..I cannot forsee RPM/Yates let two assets like that go away without sellign/gettign some compensation for them..if Nascar allowed Rousch to sell the #26 because of the 4 car team limit..it has to allow RPM/Yates the do the same with their 2 extra cars...

I hope they do and Speed has to qualify for the 500 and miss it...lol
though I would rather have the 71 locked in by Owners pts, otherwise it creates a top 36 locked in scenario for the first 5 races as Labonte will be locked in the top 5 via his PCP...
The top 36 isn't such a bad thing cuz it can create a bigger gap between 37 and 35 thus giving RGM a buffer where he could miss (a) race and still be top 35 for the next start. Providing all goes well in the first five..meaning top 5s/10s and #7 has a buffer of at least 180 pts over 36th after Bristol and beyond. Providing the 36th place car doesn't win and lead the most laps the day Robby isn't in the show. An example of this is Mark Martins Stats from 2008 partial scheduall and hung in the points for a bit.
Drivers in BOLD will need to race thrie way in

Something's still wrong with that picture because there's 37 cars listed there that are locked in. What it really comes down to is if Front Row found a way to get both the 44's points and the 96's points. If that happened, no spots will have opened up in the top 35 and Scott Speed will have to race his way in. This is what I'm coming up with:

1-- #48
2-- #5
3-- #24
4-- #2
5-- #11
6-- #14
7-- #16
8-- #42
9-- #39
10-- #9
11-- #99
12-- #83
13-- #18
14-- #17
15-- #33
16-- #00
17-- #31
18-- #47
19-- #29
20-- #20
21-- #78 (Was the #07)
22-- #26 (Was the #26)
23-- #1
24-- #37 (Was the #44?)
25-- #88
26-- #19
27-- #6
28-- #77
29-- #43
30-- #12
31-- #38 (Was the #96?)
32-- #56 (Was the #55)
33-- #98
34-- #7
35-- #34
--------------------------------------
36-- #82
37-- #171 (Locked in via PCP)
The 38 has not officially been locked in the top 35 as of yet.
