It sounds like Robby may not be running the full cup schedule, and that may disappoint alot of Robby's hardcore nascar fans. But what he plans on doing during his "off-weeks" has me absolutely excited. Robby says he is looking hard at running the Indy 500!! That alone would be awesome. But add in running the X-games rally race, building and (hopefully) running a monster truck, and running the Baja 500 & 1000. That is unbelievable. I am definitely looking forward to what 2010 will bring us as Robby Gordon fans, and I think it was worth the wait. What do you think??

I am sure robby has it all under control...relax and enjoy.
I think hie want's to enjoy himself and have some fun doing it.
I like the Indy plans but as far as anything else as an east coast girl the rest of the plans mean nothing to me. It just means more weekends that I won't be able to see or hear Robby race. Sorry feeling a little selfish here I was hoping that he would be able to get the NASCAR thing together.
Agreed.
Hey, nothing is etched in stone...keep the faith.....plans change, and they will.....
Rw: It's okay, go ahead and be a little selfish. But know that wherever RG races, you will be able to see him, one way or another.
You know it pdx....my fellow oregonian....not there now, but hope to be in your neck of the woods soon....ok, the lower part of the state!!!
Monster sponsoring Daytona and Vegas. Seriously considering Indy. Good showings at those races alone could make the entire season and bring in additional funding for a full season in Cup. What's not to LOVE about his announcement today?

Unless there are serious improvements in the short track program, it won't break my heart if Robby doesn't run at Martinsville. Although I am not that optomistica about seeing him at Pocnono.
Monster Trucks if that's true- great $$$$$$$$$ decision, it'll be like shooting fish in a barrel for RG, but Monster trucks, damn
you can always hold out for the #48 or #18 becoming available for him...lol..
Any chance Robby will race at Atlanta in March or will I have to drive to Daytona to fly my new Monster #7 flag? The 2010 plans sound very exciting and it is great to be able to branch out. I am happy for the team to have lots to look forward to in 2010. I do hope that diversifying so much will not result in a decrease in performance. Not sure how difficult it is to go from one type of vehicle to another from week to week and still be competitive. But if anyone can do it, Robby can! I am an east coaster as well, and hope that we will get to see him in some races out here. And that for those races when Robby is not in the #7, that there is another competitive driver available to keep the car in the top 10 :-). Anyway, looking forward to all the excitement this year!! Love the X Games!!
It sounds to me like maybe Robby has a full time sponsor in Monster. If Monster is willing to sponsor him in all the different types of racing he wants to do I think that is great. Red Bull has been sponsoring Travis Pastrana in the same way for years. This year Monster is supporting Josh Hanson in Supercross and Motocross maybe Robby has the same kind of deal. I am personally excited about what the future may hold for RGM.
