I agree Vak, and hope we are right. I think he's keeping something up his sleeve.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see RG run a full cup season. All I'm saying is that it would open new avenues of interest if Robby had the time to run in other events. Who knows, maybe RG has over 3/4 of this season's races sold, and he's just working on the last few dates...
TOG keeps hinting, hinting and hinting that some news is comming but nothing offical or even jayski rumors have come along.....some one tell us something before I run away and start watching monster jam.....kidding, I already watch it
I've also seen TOG post something to the effect of "planning on a partial season unless something official comes out"
this also means.... I"M really really hoping for something official!!!
Nighthawk- They will announce their plans when they are ready to. Possible that many things are in the process of being worked out. The guy just got back from Dakar.Let him get caught up...lol...As soon as the green light is given, you will not miss out on any news. I think our reputation here in the past for posting #7 stuff before it hits mainstream media speaks for itself.
Oh I know that this is the BEST site on earth for any news on the 7 and sometimes the best place to read a real nascar news blog from people in and just out of the game along with others who understand way more than I do about the topic. I'm just waiting and wondering and thought I'd type my angst away....my love for planet robby and its members is only trumped by the love of the go fast!

type size: + -CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- BAM Racing announced Tuesday that David Gilliland will drive the No. 49 Toyota at the 2010 Daytona 500 on Feb. 14. This season marks Gilliland's fifth year in the Cup Series.

"We're thrilled to have David driving for BAM," Beth Ann Morgenthau, owner of BAM Racing, said. "He's shown himself to be a competitive racer during his Cup career and I am excited to have him drive at the Daytona 500. The combination of David's driving ability and the technical alliance with Robby Gordon Motorsports should produce great results at this year's Daytona 500."

GillilandGilliland has two top-fives, four top-10s and two poles in 118 starts in the Cup Series. Throughout his career, superspeedways have proven to be one of the most competitive and successful track formations for Gilliland. Both of his poles have been won at superspeedways -- the Oct. 2006 Talladega race and the 2007 Daytona 500. In 11 superspeedway starts, Gilliland has one top-five and three top-10s.

"I'm really looking forward to competing for Beth Ann and the BAM Racing organization in the 2010 Daytona 500," Gilliland said. "I was excited after our meeting in Homestead when I learned that I was on their short list of potential drivers. Now that they announced their new affiliation with Robby Gordon Motorsports, I am confident that we will have a competitive team for the 500 and produce a great finish. Daytona has always been one of my favorite tracks and I can't wait to take the green flag."

Robby Gordon Motorsports will provide BAM Racing with technical support, race cars and personnel.

"This alliance puts RGM in a great position to basically have a 'teammate' on the track that we can work with throughout the weekend to improve our car, as well as to help BAM Racing improve their car," Gordon said. "Our team has worked with David a few times in the past, and we seem to mesh very well. Hopefully both teams will be able to capitalize on that and bring home strong finishes at Daytona."

Gilliland also is excited about BAM Racing's sponsorship from Warner Music Nashville and having the opportunity to meet some of his favorite recording artists at Daytona International Speedway.

"I know the goal is to provide unprecedented access to these talented artists for the fans, but I am pretty excited that I get to meet them as well," Gilliland said.

Warner Music Nashville stars Larry the Cable Guy, Blake Shelton, Gloriana, Whitney Duncan, Jessica Harp, James Otto, Jason Jones, and others will be featured on the No. 49 and in the BAM Racing/Warner Music Nashville VIP Fan Experience throughout the 2010 Sprint Cup season.
The Twins starting order is determined my how you qualified the week before
Ok, now I'm confused. Jayski is reporting that Gilliland will be in the Front Row # 38 for the majority of the season (that came directly from a PR from Front Row). Is the 49 going to run full time?
Sure the 49 plans on running full season, was hoping that David would be a full time teamate, but other things went on.Just wonder about Scott Riggs as a possility.
doesnt really make sense you would think a full time team would want a full time driver. Unless their full time driver already has 8 races sold for his own car.
