WILL RG MOTORSPORTS DEVELOP AN ALL-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE FOR FUTURE DAKARS!!!!

Its early, or way to early in this years race, but I believe 2010 is the last year the Hummers will beable to race Dakar. Do you think RG will want to build an all wheel drive version of the Hummer for future Dakars to come. I also fill that with the possiblity of an overall could he get the Factory Support from a Major Auto Manufacture?

The aswer to the 4x4 ? is NO! let this thread DIE.
But isn't 2wd the reason he is over 4 hours back? Perhaps he should build a 4wd Camry to enter the Dakar next year...

Just Kidding.... Die evil thread thread Die

Although I think the tire inflators need to be re-engineered.
It seems there all ready lots of Plans to upgrade the Hummer for next year. As robby said "he has to keep the hummer moving, the VW's never stop, just keep going". Did he say Vw or Energizer Bunny, oh different Rabbit.LOL
A DAKAR still Pro-4 is coming, should be amazing!!!! I could feel it coming.
AAAhhhhh Snaps!!!!
the hummer is awsome but it is more of a baja style vehicle. it is still huge and heavy! I dont know it well but it seems more like a class one buggy with a full body than anything else. I bet next year he goes all wheel drive and wont have an external inflation system to keep getting torn off and giving him flats. I wish i could design the trucks he does!
I feel the Hummers are awesome but to stay a pioneer you have to be ever changing with technology, VW has proven that.
at the end of rally interview he said it was time to build a new car. the british commentator has been saying several times theres a rumour of him building a 4x4 for next year. i think the hummers will carry on for a couple of years in priviteer hands tho :). the rules probably favour 4wheel drive diesels too much :x
You know first hand how competetive Robby is, you've got a bet he'll bring something over the top
Hmm, let's take a guess at next years design - Instead of a Hummer we have a Cadillac SRX with 2.5 liter 2 turbo diesel that is modification of the Fiat / Opel production 4banger. It will be a 4x4 with carbon fiber components to limit weight. The transmision will be from the CTS race program and the drive system will be based on the CTS / SRX all wheel drive system.

Do you think this will happen?
I am sure this question has been asked, but why not race a trophy truck? is it not legal at Dakar..
i think theres "equalisation" for trophy trucks, or SCORE cars in the dakar rules
