STAGE 12: San Juan > San Rafael

Connection 23 km | Special Stage 476 km | Connection 297 km | Total 796 km

Course Overview

For the longest stage of the rally, the program will be as lively as it will be spectacular. We will leave the area of dinosaurs on tracks cut by rios, surrounded by canyons and "fairy chimneys". After around 200 kilometres of special, the competitors will momentarily use the road in order to avoid a classified and protected natural site. The second part, exclusively sandy will have many jumps. The bikers can expect to have sore arms and the best of them will rarely ride at over 100 km/h. The day will be even more tiring due to the fact that it will end with a long liaison.

With the sand that is ahead in this stage, we could see this stage become a big one for team Hummer.
The bumps in the sand will help, the Hummer's wheel travel should really pay off.........
+1
fingers crossed!!!!
Looks like BJ's burst was short lived.
He's ok. Lost just another 5 minutes, now 35 minutes back, 16 place. COME ON SAND! Within 10 minutes of top 10, better if there is trouble. We need a couple bunnies to burrow into the sand for a nap!
whos that bj?
OK, question Teranova was over 3 min back of Miller now he is 1 min ahead of Miller how is this possible if there is a speed limit......
devillars made up 11 minutes so yes something is crazy here on this stage
Remember in one of the very early stages, Coma was penalized for speeding after his tracking data was read by officials at the end of the stage. So if there was any speeding going on through the neutralized section, the perpetrators will likely be caught.
Not good Robby got passed on the course....Just hope he had to take a leak or something.............
Cars are now hitting the sand. I'm surprised to see RG now +10 min, lost 7 min on the pavement?
