STAGE 3: La Rioja > Fiambala

Connection 259km | Special Stage 182km | Connection 0km | Total 441km

Course Overview

It'll be on the third real day of racing that the competitors will have to deal with a first test. The change of context will be radical: with a switch from earth to sand and especially a dune portion of close to 30 kilometres. Other than their dimension that suits perfectly a first part of rally, these dunes are noticeable thanks to their white colour. In this new landscape, the crews will enjoy off-piste. They will also have to adapt to a change of climate and especially sand storms that are frequent in the area.

This was supposed to be a GOOD day for the Hummers?

Ouch.....
It's early, plenty of time for it to turn around.
Doesn't sound like a good day for a lot of competitors. 60 bikes and 100 cars still on the course.
There's a hundred of them still on the course... maybe this was a good day. 10-4 on the ouch!

Here is a short audio interview with Miller. Sounds like navigation was huge, said he was lost within the first 3 KM.
looks like carlos just finished
It shows the Chile Hummer at the finish line (arrival) in 34th place. 3hr3'36" back.
@ 20:40 GMT

Carlos (326) finished the course +3:03:36. The standings does not show him clearing KM 38. I have not checked the other checck points.
I did not find Carlo (326) clearing any of the check points. Therefore, I assume there is a problem with the tracking device.
