WILL RG MOTORSPORTS DEVELOP AN ALL-WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE FOR FUTURE DAKARS!!!!

Its early, or way to early in this years race, but I believe 2010 is the last year the Hummers will beable to race Dakar. Do you think RG will want to build an all wheel drive version of the Hummer for future Dakars to come. I also fill that with the possiblity of an overall could he get the Factory Support from a Major Auto Manufacture?

BURN,BABY ,BURN!!!!
Yeah maybe RG can weld together 2 of those engines, cut them in half and weld them back together like a v-8.... LOL
or an H8
what are the major advantages of RG's package?

- suspension travel
- dynamic air pressures

what else?
I noticed on the VW dakar page that suspension travel is limited assume there is some limitations on RG's suspension travel as well. VW limited to 250 mm (9.8 inches), no doubt RG's set up will shine when the terrain changes.
Half the allowed wieght. And great wieght transfer in the dunes.

The biggest advantage????????$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Nobody read the Question!!! Believe as an ex-desert racer and coming from a racing community I am well aware of what the car is capable of doing. Just thought this was the last year the car was allow in the Dakar Sanction. Also with all of the Pro-4 Technology hear on the West coast and the short course racing in the mid-west, if anyone could build an AWD buggy or whatever the builders at RG's shop could Fab it up and it would win.
For Robby to build a 4wd vehicle he would have to compete with the manufacturers at thier own game. It will be tough to compete with VW with the same rules considering thier budget.
Keep the 2wd and slap a Lexus RX body on those truggies...and go after some Toyota money.
No!
He drove a toureg in 05 & loved it, but the rule book allows alot more in a open 2wd format.
It doesn't matter what the body is, this thing is a high desert dune buggy RG style.
Also, there's no reason the Hummers can't run next year, though I doubt RGM will be running a Chinese Truck
I'd like to see a GM Trophy Truck nexxt year, but that's not likely w/the economy.
There is one F-150 in the rally, don't know how it's doing.
It will be interesting to see how the rules evolve over the next few years...epecially if VW does not race for a while. I'm enjoying Robby's team using 2wd vehicles, but I would really like to see what a purpose built 4wd with about 18-20" of travel could do out there.
That's not legal.... 4wd 250mm max travel. (10") 2wd is open (RG runs 18")
