Well, Robby had a stout car in Happy Hour for Sundays cup race,talk here as he marches through the field from his rain-induced 31st starting spot.Robby came through the field rather easily in the Nationwide race until overheating ended his day.Hopefully the pit strategies will be good and Robby won't let the speeding penalty from Saturday influence him into running slow on pitroad , like 2007.

That's when it started! Dropped back to 41st. When he figured out he'd fucked up, he tried to make up the time! Got like 48 seconds behind the leader and it was done from there! Tried strategy that bit'em in the ass!

I don't think it helped did it ? If he'd made a better start and didn't stress when he looked at the wrong gauge he would have no doubt worked his way up a lot faster and not lost a lap when he made that first stop. The whole race was just awful for him.

All i can say after this debacle is "WTF" was that? He loses 7 positions in the 1st lap, can,t read the water temp guage, and then they try some dumb ass fuel mileage 2 stop strategy when they have had lousy fulel mileage all season long. Why not try to race your way to a top 15 or better.? Ambrose went from 43rd to 3rd. Who thinks up this race strategy? A top five car finishes 27th.

Sounds like RG needs to let Walter call the race for one full race just to see what would happen. He needs to shut up and drive. If he was with a different team that is what would be expected. I cannot believe he actually was reading the wrong gauge. Some owners would fire a driver for that. (sorry everyone but I am damned frustrated!)

Wouldn't that be in a perfect world??? Sure would be nice to see it happen, just once!!!!! RGM is no better than a 30th place team if we continue on this circus ride we have now!!!!!! Hell, I doubt I will purchase a ticket for Sundays Race coming up in a few weeks in Loudon!!!!! Why would I want to??? Very frustrating here at the moment as well!!!

What a Joke!
After hearing and seeing how RG called this race, Miss reads the gauges, crapy pit stops, then calls to short pit while running 39th and gets a lap down on a road course. WTF!
I'm starting to think between RG and POS, POS is the smart one. Either that or POS has been sharing the Grey Goose with RG. Fuck I guess have a kid does screw with your head.

The worst part is that its not the first time he misread the gauges either. He did the same thing at Indy, and Walter had a chuckle about him not being used to the new dash yet.
I know everybody busts there butt at RGM, but its like watching the Keystone Cops go Cup racing.

Maybe a crew member should drive the car, I bet they would know which gauges are which! Try color-coding them or putting a label on each one so RG can figure it out faster. I am putting this one squarely on his shoulders. The crew didn't do anything wrong, they had to clean up the weekly mess, as usual. Robby, it seems that you are trying to do the crew's job and not doing yours. Get your act together before things fall completely apart!!!
