Well, Robby had a stout car in Happy Hour for Sundays cup race,talk here as he marches through the field from his rain-induced 31st starting spot.Robby came through the field rather easily in the Nationwide race until overheating ended his day.Hopefully the pit strategies will be good and Robby won't let the speeding penalty from Saturday influence him into running slow on pitroad , like 2007.

Regardless of where Robby finishs. Today is the most imbarrassed i have ever been as a RG fan. I am not upset or made in the least, I was kind of expecting something was going to happen today! On robbygordon.com before Indy, he was stated that "We are unloading our best car ever!" Where did they finish, exactly. Don't know what's going on with Robby and RGM, but it can't last much longer. If they are back next year, I will be supprised. And as far as the bad luck.....bad luck and bad moves = poor performance every week! I don't see it turning around anytime soon.

Robby needs to take a "silence is golden" approach to racing. Say nothing. Show them, don't tell them.

The only thing I have to say about this whole day is that Robby's his own worst enemy. I like Robby but his nascar career can be summed up in possibly the biggest waste of talent ever in the sprint cup series. He cannot be successful as an owner driver because he NEEDS that Richard Childress, AJ Foyt type to make decisions on raceday. Robby shoots himself in the foot every weekend because he cannot or will not see the big picture. Sorry.

Just discussing Dad as a spotter and Larry Mac told him to be "patiently aggressive' on the restart.Rob said he didn't know about the patient part...to late for that. Who would have "thunk" that Robby would not consider patience, lol
