UPDATE: Beam Global Spirits & Wine, Inc., maker of Jim Beam Bourbon, the world's number one-selling Bourbon, announced that its marketing plans for 2010 will not include a return to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. As a result, the company will not extend its current partnership with Robby Gordon Motorsports in 2010. The company plans to focus its marketing resources for Jim Beam into other platforms that directly impact the end consumer. "It was a difficult decision to transition away from being a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team sponsor," said Bill Newlands, president Beam Global Spirits & Wine U.S. "We always take a hard look at our marketing resources and how we can best interact with legal purchase age consumers. After an extensive review of our marketing strategy, we have come up with new alternatives to fuel growth for Jim Beam in 2010." Jim Beam will continue its support of #7-Robby Gordon Motorsports for the remainder of the 2009 NASCAR Sprint Cup series schedule."Jim Beam has been a great partner for the past five years," said Robby Gordon. "I would like to thank them for their support through the years. They have been with me since we started the team in 2005, helping build our Cup team and aiding in its success. Great relationships have been formed, and I expect those to continue well into the future

Hopefully Robby can land the greygoose sponsorship. It'd mix much better with Monster.

Hmmm.... I thought the nationwide car they sponsored was pink.
have fun selling those jim beam hats and shirts dahm things just come out and jb is gone what a joke
Jim Beam its been great! Will still hold my glass up every race day! Mastercraft?
I always thought ups would have benn good to get. He could have delivered packages in the hummer better than dale jarret could race the truck. too bad they had to go and sponsor ragan
imo he should go to Grand Am racing, the competition and races are great and I think Robby could be a contender to win. Plus they might race at Indy next year, the only problem is that they only have 10-12 races a year. That's not enough Robby for me.
How about Polaris? Any chance they step up and sponsor 6 or 7 races next year?
Did anybody talk about Hornitos Taquila, Jim Beam Global owns Sauza
What about Hard Rock Casino Las Vegas? They have been on the car this year, and Robby is the only car in cup to carry a Las Vegas Casino sponsor, Harris and hard Rock have both been on the car? hooters Las Vegas would bring it full circle on the 7 car.
Forget who but someone carried Harrah's this year.

Anheuser Busch had US distribution rights to Corona. Not sure how it shuffled out when they got bought out but may be interesting. Who knows what Budweiser will do with the RPM issues? The King does not want an alcohol sponsor on his car, mommy wouldn't be happy. Of course, as long as it's in someone else's name mommy will look the other way. Still interesting....
Bud will be gone w/ Kahne to SHR in 2011...
