Just heard Moody say on Sirius Speedway that RPM and Yates will merge for 2010. How's that for a surprise!? That will throw a monkey wrench into the mix. They will be driving Fords as a 4 car team and drivers will be Kasey Kahne, Elliot Sadler, A.J. Allmendinger, and Paul Menard. Bye bye Reed Sorenson!

So...where does that leave Jamie McMurray and the #26 car? So much for heading to Yates. Looks like the Hall of Fame Racing team will be on their own next year.

Furthermore, how many owners is that team gonna have? George Gillette, Richard Petty, Ray Evernham, Doug Yates, and Max Jones? Talk about a cluster f**k!

Reed is a tool... he's punked out on a few fan affairs this year, the latest one being at Bristol. He's a legend in his own mind. If he's so good and sponsors love him, then let him and JJ Yealy and David Stremme start up their own team.
They could call their team the We-cant-win-on-a-weekend-either motorsports or perhaps Field-filler motorsports.
This will be the end of Reed in the cup series.
now now, Kvapli has talent. Labonte ran well in the TRG car. The rest of em should be heading to bovine university, the field is pretty full.
"Talent" is such an over used and mis-stated term.
Oh darn another team leaves Dodge!
From Nate Ryan: Highlights of kaseykahne reaction to RPM merger: "We're going to help them, too. We have things that are better than Roush-Yates."

Interesting comment. Other than motors, will they distance themselves from Roush?
