Over the wall gang needs to drill.
Finally a good car and great driving and the pit crew faulters the last 3 pitstops! Great job Robby! To bad all cylinders(pit crew) were not firing or it could of been even better.
hey 16th is a solid finish and he probably had the best run all season tonight.
I guess I should be happy with this, but I'm not. I'm sure I'll come around, but tonight was a top ten in the bag, and it was blown on pit road. We should have had at least 13th tonight (Thanks, Clint. Appreciate it). Does anyone know what happened on the second to last run? Seemed like we were really gaining spots, then lost a few to Biffle and Newman I believe.
Thought so. I was praying all night as we continued to move up that something like that wouldn't happen. I thought for sure, with the way we were picking cars off we had a top ten in the bag. This team NEEDS a top ten before the year is out.
That was a great run and finally a good finish to show for it.
What a great finish at Atlanta. That just proves what kind of driver Robby is
Great momentum race tonight. Good call on the air pressure, but I'm confussed on the no brake fan.
So much for the "He needs to focus on nascar" theory. Rolled the hummer, raced at crandon finishing 6th and finished 16th at atlanta. Maybe he need's to race everything all the time :)
From what I herd on the radio, we lost positions on the pit stops. There was a big chunk of something on the grill and Robby got pretty upset on the positions we lost. He needs to listen to Kirk and keep his cool. The 12 blocking our exit on the last pit stop didn’t help. I hope Gilliland does a good job at Richmond.
Yeah that crew was not on their game last night. I bet that would have been a top 10 finish. That last stop was not good. He sure was pissed and for good reason. I still love Doug though. He cracks me up.
I've been as hard as anyone on the pit crew this year, but they didn't have a particularly bad night. You guys have to remember a couple things and keep this in perspective. First, when you qualify 29th(with a great Q draw), you don't get a primo pit stall. Also, the crew was a victim of RG's good run. When you run 10-15, you're up against the big boys that do 13 second stops, not the 15 or 16 second stops the back markers make. The crew wasn't bad, just tougher competition. On a brighter note, Polaris has to be thrilled with the coverage. The networks don't dislike Robby, this proves that if he can have good runs, he'll get plenty of airtime.
