RGM is holding down 34th in owner points -110 points from 33rd (37 track positions) behind Paul Menard. Meaning Robby would have to score a Top 10 & lead a lap, with Paul finishing 40th or worse to overcome 33rd in one race.

RGM has a 122 point lead over 35th and a 237 point lead over 36th.

28th thru 33rd are only separated by 183 points.

I predict that Scott Speed will find his way into the T-35 by season's end.
andretti will have fup major ..it could happen speed is starting to get the car.
I also think SS will end up in the top 35. Problem is, when JA has a bad race, SS does as well
Hey TOG what exactly happend to Robby's car at Bristol, looked like he was up in the 20s then all of a sudden the 30s then 10 laps down. Of course, the announcers don't tell you a thing, and it was not mentioned on NASCAR Monday night recap either. Mikey kept blabbing about his Twitter pg. The announcers at the race were all concerned over Stewart's lack of radio - find out last night he had the wrong channel DORK! I get sick of the coverage, it's so biased, poor McMurry never gets a mention and the only time they said Labonte was when he spun out. Also, why is Robby 34th in owner points & 33rd in driver points? That doen't make sense to me. I have thanked you for the great job and the planet - but thanks again great job. Joan
On the first pit stop, Robby took 2 tires instead of 4. Everyone on here is saying that the air pressure in one of the tires was wrong and messed up the balance of the car. I think it wasn't until too late that they realized it was an air pressure problem so they started messing with the handling and then everything just got way off.
The low "air pressure" issue was from running over something after they went back green, thus giving the tire a slow leak. And it was on the rightside. The tires were fine when they were mounted on the car.
RG's first stop was lap 11 with Jeff Gordon and several other back markers. With this 11 lap tire advantage he was steadily moving up (to about 27th, I think). Ideally, a full fuel run would have maximized this advantage and he would have continued moving up (until the others pitted for new tires). When the caution came out a little too early, Robby took 2 tires to try to continue that 11 lap advantage on left side tires, not just for track position, per se. It's hard to notice with the clueless announcers, unless you are realloy paying attention.
I'd still like to see him be able to improve a few spots, maybe make a run at 30th.
Just for his own state of mind. Get some momentum for next year.
The equipment has been better, but it's been a terrible luck season.
