Canada's Ron Fellows will have plenty of competition as he gets set to defend his NASCAR Nationwide Series NAPA 200 crown at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal on Aug. 30. Sprint Cup drivers Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Kevin Harvick, Marcos Ambrose and Robby Gordon, among others, have all been entered in the event. And count on a full complement of Quebec drivers to seek a hometown win as well with Patrick Carpentier leading a NASCAR grid that will include Andrew Ranger, Jacques Villeneuve and possibly Alex Tagliani.

Notice Robby had the best average speed during practice and had a very fast car at Watkins Glen Nationwide race, the COT has really put drivers like Robby & Jeff Gordon behind where the dominated road courses.

This is a Nationwide race and Robby still runs those cars faster than anyone on road courses...good chance he'll win!

I didn't see the 2007 version of this race, but I did see last years 'wet' version. I hate driving in the rain, I imagine racing in the rain can't be too much fun.

I agree the 2007 race was one of the best. The burnout competition with Harvick was priceless. It was worth a one week suspension.

that doesnt matter. The car is ready, the motor is ready, just waiting for the final pieces of the puzzle for it to happen. Still 50/50, and they have until Thursday.

I was at Bristol and was told they are doing all they can to go. I also talked to Paul Menard at the trailer, he is a very nice guy & he said he was going too.

Hi fellow Robby fans!
I hope Robby will make it this week as he has infinished business to take care of ( 2007 race!)
If any cup driver is entitlted to be racing at the circuit Gilles Villeneuve it`s Robby!!
