I really don't care if he does or doesn't. I'm over the RGM road course fascination.
simple yes or no would end it
Sooooo.... that would end it ???
or
Bingo!
What i'm not fully a grasp of is what the attitude of the Montreal fans was, is and will be if he were to make a return trip. On one youtube clip recorded by a fan with a hand held fans were in jest of his celebratory burnout. Not that it would matter much but the Canadian media up there would feast on this story like jakels on a ribcage. Thus I ask, "is the race worth what the exposure may or may not do to Robbys' image having to face perhaps a barrage of attention"? Will he be faced with what could be an embarassment? Perhaps it is all water over the dam but in order to be so one might be relying heavily on the dignity and intelect of the media, which would bring us right back to the stupid question circus. If Rob were to race, the ticket price for that alone would be worth it. My opinion is if the time/finance were justified go race and claim your rightful place as a racer and when it's all said and done let the effort of that day speak for you. I'm sure Rob has no reservations about having to face a media circus but in the end, the media is a joke and you have to ask what kind of exposure matters to you.
My take is go win.
A media circus in Canada ? .......... about a Nationwide race ? ............. in Montreal ? ..............
ain't gonna happen , eh !!!!!

We'll leave the media circus where it belongs..LOL.
The day Robby makes a decision to race or not based on the media is the day he stops being Robby Gordon in my mind.

I personally feel that the Canadian fans/press looked at it as entertainment, and a way to get Patrick Carpentier closer to the front. Now if he would have done to a Canadian driver what he did to Ambrose, then it would be a different story...
Wellllllll............i don't know. If it was Carpentier the entertainment value would be bigger ( maybe a few fist shakes form French Canadian fans ) but the end result would be the same ( famous Canadian saying "whatever, eh '') we're quite passive except when it comes to HOCKEY.
Montreal fans and media are nuts about auto racing as most other sports (even Nationwide). I'm not from there but the Montreal fan I know loves a guy like Robby Gordon and the media exposure he'd get there could only be a positive.

One thing is for sure. If Robby is there, I'm buying a ticket. Only a 7 hour drive from here.
If it makes sense for him to run this race, he will run this race.
about time we start doing things that make sense i guess.
