I have been thinking about the drivers points, yes 33rd is not good, but: Robby is doing this with his own small team. Compared to:
Dale Jr with the best in the business Hendrick equipment 25th
past champion Bobby Labonte with Roush stuff 27th
David Ragan one of the most talked about coming into this season 30th
Not to mention Stremme and Hornish using very good Penske cars and engines 28th and 31st.

33rd does not look so bad

I completely agree,

But its such a waste of raw talent. How fun would it be to see Robby in a competitive ride next year, win a race or two, and be talked about for possibly making the chase. That will never happened with his micromanaged team. Im not complaining, merely just commenting.

Im a fan either way, but days like today are a bummer.

Robby is lucky to still have his own team the way the economy is going. Larger owners like Ganassi-DEI and Petty struggling, I'm impressed that Robby is still running with something on the hood most of the season.

Agree... add Yates to your list. These guys are the backbone of the sport and struggling. I'm proud of what Robby's done with so few resources and a ton of passion.
