LOL "exciting" eh? Do I detect a facetious undertone? ;)...

God Pocono blows.
I've been to Pocono races twice, it's certaintly isn't the bore that it looks like on T.V.
I can imagine that actually, because I really have no room to talk with Auto Club Speedway being the closest track to me in Orange County and the one I attend the most haha
All races would be exciting if they showed the actual racing instead of the "through the field". "Through the field" is the way the guys in the booth get to go to the restroom and eat, while the pit road reporters tell you stories about the same 10 drivers that the guys in the booth were talking about just moments before. If you follow the tracker there are almost always cars the are within a tenth of each other, show them. Double file restarts at Pocono, this could be interesting, but as I said before, I believe in the triple file at Pocono.
I did like how ESPN did the driver introductions. We got to see everybody.
I think that was only for the Brickyard though because they were saying it was "special" and whatnot.

I agree with you though C2B, whoever is telecasting the race owes it to all the drivers and teams to show, well, all of the drivers and teams. They are participating just as much as the other guys. It's not like ESPN doesn't show Adam LaRoche now when they show Red Sox games just because he didn't win the World Series with them...so I have no idea why they don't show anyone other than Chase contenders. And Jr. And yeah the "logic" is: well they are the most popular drivers. But if they showed others then perhaps the others could get some fans too.
Pocono will be a very exciting race, i predict 10 cautions and 2 big wrecks!
im on trackside rv at pocono and i believe if a big wreck happens it will be near my rv spot in the tunnel turn. turn 2 where i saw last year where most of the arca wrecks were
Pocono is way beter than california, i think boris said will be there in the 08
Umm you're on mescaline. Like, I'll the first to admit that Cali isn't the most exciting track, but it's definitely on the north end of Pocono in the excitement department
How about they both suck! lol
I'll buy that ;) haha

I was jk, because it's pretty much a toss-up. I mean, Fontana is my "local" track and I still think it should lose a date.

I think they should drop a Pocono date and a Fontana one and replace them with some road courses
