Avg times don't factor in driver slowdowns to let other cars go by,getting up to speed lap, slowdown laps, etc. Every driver has a different agenda as far as getting up to speed, and slowing down.
Hey guys, just checkin in for a quick minute. Gonna be heading down to the track in a few. I'm still kinda tired, it was a long night. So forgive me as I'm sure there will be plenty of type-o. Talked to Robby last night at his Jim Beam appearance. As we speculated he's positive they got the issue with the car fixed. Apparently it was a faulty fuel pump. He ran very well in practice, the 25th doesn't really reflect it. They were working different lines,& trying alot of setup. Really trying to get the car where it will be fast into the day/ night transition. Obviously Sat night is more important than Fri afternoon. Given fuel strategy & pit times work out well, this should be at least a top 15 tonight.
Fuel pump. I nailed that yesterday! I win!!!!! YAYYYYY!

Glad they are confident that it's fixed. Thanks for the update Mike.
Yep, ya' got it Alan! I was hoping it would be the case when you mentioned it, made sense. Sure easier to fix than tracing wiring all afternoon! We own a small engine repair shop. While tractors and generators are a far cry from these beasts, I stay away from hubby when he's tracing an elusive electrical issue. Tends to make him a bit irritable...
They run electrical fuel pumps in cup cars, correct?
Thought they were cable driven
last time i checked it was mechcanical
come on Robby Top 10 tonight in Kid Rock Jim Beam Camry
I like the paint scheme....it actually looks really good....
live wont come up ?
So, what happened?
You didn't miss anything. One of the most boring races of the year.
