dave our tuner is very good...............
Swapping engines won't hurt much, already starting near the back. Dang... I thought all the Red Stag I drank tonight would bring him some luck!
A swap won't necessarily fix it. Not if the problem is in the ignition boxes or electrical system. He needs his sharpest guys diagnosing this, not just throwing parts at the problem. If there's any question Saturday about whether this has been resolved, then he's in trouble, There should be plenty of time to diagnose this and fix it 100% right.
I trust him and the guys he has working on it.
Will this be the first time this year Robby will have to go to the back for car issues? If he does.
If nascar allows him to swap motors, then thats cool. But if they can correct the misfire ( probably electrical ) then Nascar will NOT let them swap the motor out. You have to have approval. Robby started in the back after being low after Talladega qualifying.
50% chance of rain tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed.
Damn. I was hoping that a change in engine and 2 practice sessions would be a real help. Hopefully the rain will hold off tomorrow evening.
sounds like you need a new shop
As long as I have watched racing, teams have made changes , even the #1 teams, that they thought was the problem ,turned out to not be the problem they originally diagnosed it as.
I wouldnt lose sleep over it..they will get it sorted out. :)
Wow Speed qualified 2nd. Red Bull starts in positions 1 and 2.
