Marketing! Marketing! Marketing!...... and nothing But good news for RGM. ( finacially)..

No.... I have no inside news.. or any inside details. But just look at the facts that have been reported and said by Robby or a RGM rep. Robby has announced that his team is now building his own chassis..... Robby has also said that he has been testing, testeing, and more testing on his road course cars.. Putting PJ in a second car and if PJ finished good... and Robby wins for finishes in the top 5? That makes a RGM chassis worth alot of money to other teams that want to run a good car on a road course.. right?????

JMHO
I'd have to say for myself this race has me ready to go as i've ever been for any sports event ever. Being in Buffalo New York though i've seen some loo loos.
you mean when it gets a top 10? Take a pic of the scoring pylon and then the car when P.J. climbs out.
What a great move...I have always thought this would be such a great place (and Watkins Glen) to showcase a 2nd RGM team. I would love for Robby & PJ to walk off and leave the field and finish 1-2...that would make history! It would also put RGM on the map.

No wget Kvapil in a 2nd restrictor plat car at Daytona & Dega
As mentioned before..the #204 is the registered as such because 2 other people have registered rights to the 4. Morgan McClure for one with the 4, and someone else has pu tin and is the 104. (perhaps the Stewart Haas initial registration has not come off the books). Remember...Ambrose was the 177 technically at the Glen in 2007 as Penske still had rights to the #77. The flip side to that is that if Robby started a 2nd team to start 2008 he would have trumped Penske for the irghts to use the #77 and screwed Hornish as he would have accumulated more owner points on that number from the prior year.

The reason Stewart Haas did not go with the 4 is because they could not for certain build an ad campaign and manufacture merchandise with the number #4 on it due to IF Morgan McCLure decided to show up at Daytona to run a car (whihc they would then have had the right ot use the #4). That woul dmake Stewart Haas look pretty stupid and would have been a million dollar gamble to do that and obviously anyone with half a business sense could not go that path. S0 #14 it was for Stewart.

But back to the main part of the post...this is awesome...and I hope PJ makes it!
damn 4th glass of wine! :)

It was pretty petty of Morgan McCLure to rain on that parade too...theyre so fossils of a sport that has passed them by....they should have have cut a deal for like 250 or 500k to promise not to use the #4 in 2009 (which then gives Stewart Haas first right to use thereon).

Instead..theyre in jail...lol
Hs anybody ever used the number 69 on a racecar in the cup series ? just throwing that out there.
Come on TOG.
HAHHA not until I win the mega millions!
though I honestly believe Nascar would NEVER allow that number to run. If it has...I bet not since 1970....when people were like hey #69! lol
and if I do win the mega millions..I will pay 500k to get Monistat to be the primary sponsor of the 7 for a race...probably at Martinsville because we drive like "one" there...lol
just that the number 69 is a good number for the roof as is # 96
