Prelude Test and Race

Does anyone know where Robby is going to do the Prelude test? Is it going to be at Eldora? And does anyone know if he is going to run a Bloomquist chassis again? And, is Scott going to help him again?

Brian Vickers tested Jonathan Davenport's car at 311 Speedway along with Kevin Harvick last week. Harvick is running one of Childress' chassis.

One of Childress chassis? I'm sure its one of Dale McDowell's cars right? He's got both Warriors and Rockets. I think McDowell is in with Childress pretty good as he was helping his grandsons on their late models for a while. Maybe he still is , im not sure.

I assumed that he was using Ryan Gifford's chassis who is sponsored by Childress and a teammate of Austin and Ty Dillon. Gifford's car looks just like Harvick's Sprint Cup Car. I am not sure whether it is a Rocket or what. I am sure that McDowell is probably involved but you can get him involved with any car since he runs a school out of his shop in TN.

For those of you who are not familiar with nor seen this Eldora Deal.........it is a must...frickin bad to the bone and Robby kicked ass last year...I would expect the same this year...

You could be right Rob, I'm not sure, nor do I really care what car Harvick drives haha, I was just thinking outloud... although McDowell was working with Childress's grandsons, like fulltime working on the cars and going to the track with them at one point...When Austin Dillon was running late models frequently not sure if thats still the case or not.

Austin is still running crate late models some. He won the big crate late model show last Friday at Lowes that was put on in conjunction with the WOO Sprint Cars. Jonathan Davenport cleaned everybody's clock the next two nights at Wythe and Princeton WVA (well Mike Feykus was right on his butt from start to finish in WVA).

Oh ok , I wasn't sure what Austin was up too lately.. knew he was starting to run some pavement stuff, good to see he's still running dirt as well. Got the World of Outlaw series at my home track tonight! I'm pretty pumped up today... hopefully mother nature works with us!

I'd like to see Jonathan "Superman" Davenport and Chris "Smokey" Madden run with those guys at the Prelude (or any of the WOO regulars). JD and Madden don't run WOO all of the time but I'd say if they ran a 25 lapper both of them would lap the field at the Prelude including Stewart and Robby. They are that good.

I don't know about in 25 laps... I mean Stewart runs pretty good at Eldora and has had good runs there besides in the prelude, and Robby was pretty descent last year. But thats really no way to look at it. Throw Davenport and Madden in the cup race sunday at Dover and see what happens... Just not a good comparison.
