Wasn't this the same chassis we ran in Texas? Nobody cares about a car that blows up before the checkers. A top 3 finish guarantees NASCAR post race inspection. I'd sure like to be in this position more often!

Maybe his shop built something so spectacular they want to make sure it holds...Im just waiting to hear the results.
I feel confident his team build the parts with in the rules. RG has too much on the line to no look at the details, and he knows how much Crrapcar looks down on him......

You know that it killed the "Oh Mighty" Nascar Gods to see the 7 in the top 5 yesterday, in their minds he just a field filler and he should of been into the wall, out of the race or running like one of their chosen son's was yesterday. It is really getting old how Robby is always in the wrong when something finally goes right, it's like they (the Gods) try to steal the thunder back. Don't they (the officials) check the car during pre race and if there was something wrong wouldn't the officials caught it then ?? Especially checking the cars on both Sunday and Monday ??

My Rally for Robby t-shirt has always been at the ready....wasn't an issue of "if" but "when" it would be needed again. Having said that if 'we" are being honest with "ourselves ""we" know that Robby will push the envelpe any time he can, Case in point, the recent Dakkar" shortcut he took. After the fact it was acceptable , as it was a gray area. When does Robby ever follow a straight line anyway? It's why we love and champion him.I believe that he will find all the wiggle room he can, when he can, just to let those bastards know that unlike some of the drivers, this one has a brain and uses it.Given the expense of of financing RGM, Robby did not do anything that would be clearly "illeagel" .He may have found a patch of gray..or Nascar is just being picky. I don't think it's because of who it is but rather what they think they found.The Rally for Robby shirt is ready do do battle again if necessary.My bet's on Robby!

I don't know how serious of a case this is, nascar.com and speedtv.com has no mention of it, and NASCAR Now didn't say anything about potential penalties. I'm not saying nothing will come out of this but maybe no news is good news.
