Congrats to Robby Gordon and the entire RGM crew for their 3rd place finish today at Charlotte.
Robby stayed out during the last caution for rain, and the rain never stopped. Prior to the yellow, Robby did manage to stay on the lead lap and had a car that got good on the long runs. Robby admitted during a rain-delayed interview that the car was probably a top 15 car, but great strategy improved that finish.

He had a good time at Pocono in '04 rgfanforlife7 getting two top tens from the races that year. Hasn't done as well since they stopped shifting gears though.
Anyone else having problems viewing the video?
Great job robby and crew. Looking forward to the P1 spot.
Way to go RGM! Works for me and I'll take it!!!!!!
WHAT R U TALKING ABOUT?
Top 5 BABY! so happy 4 ROBBY
Better to be lucky than good! A 3rd place finish is nice. Its cool to have a top five and this should be enough to lock the #7 into the top 35 for the season.

But people shouldn't get ahead of things, its was still really a lead lap/top 25 car. Which, is nice in and of itself, but thats what it was.
Yeah, but it's about time that he turns a 15-25th place car into a top 5. There's been plenty of times where his top 15 car was knocked down to 35th or worse due to crappy luck.
I would have rather that happened too, and RG even admitted thats about all he had, & nascar did what they could to get it going again. The finish is still a third, and nowadays, racing is all about putting yourself in position at the right time, and RG did.Folks forget they had a awful car at the start, but they had their shit together on pitroad and made all the correct changes to get it going much better.
NASCAR did too. You think that race wouldn't have been called an hour sooner if RG wasn't parked in third??
There's an article on speedtv.com about robby's 3rd place finish

as for the car failing post race inspection....surprise surprise
wooo hoooo
