Does anyone know how the system works? If I set up a macro does NASCAR.com block my votes? I know the discussion came up last year. Any official answer.

So far a few times a day I'll just vote over and over for 5 minutes. Thinking about setting up a macro on my home PC while I'm at work.
Is it a waste of time and won't get counted?

Who Knows. NASCAR won't even show results of who is leading the vote anyway or by how many. Last year they said they only had 300,000 votes in all and I find that very hard to believe. Last week they announced voting was up from that same point a year before and it was 30,000 last Wednesday.
If they only have 30,000 votes that probably means none of the macros work...
Miss info is a great tool, don't beleive nothing until you see it for you self.
I've voted more than 30,000 times myself without a macro! Fingers are so cramped it's hard to throttle my VTX.
Question: With Robby being second to Kasey K last year, who is Robby’s biggest threat in the all star voting??
I would imagine it would be Waltrip, Sadler, and Logano.. Plus, I would guess the Aussies are voting for Ambrose.
But as a past winner, Waltrip should not be in the running for the wildcard spot. He won in the 21 around '95.
TexasKevin it works like this:

All votes are collected and hermetically sealed in a mayonaise jar on Funk and Wagnalls' back porch. NASCAR and Fox executives huddle in a 'safe room', tally the actual votes, and processes the results through a uncomplicated algorithm. The algorithm weighs driver popularity, swag sales, team prominence, quantity of ass kissing, quality of favorable comments towards the series, "ah shucks" feel good stories (bonus points if story includes impoverished dying child wearing a NASCAR t-shirt), and most importantly, the amount of dollars the driver's primary sponsor feeds into NASCAR as the 'official this or that' combined with the dollar amount of advertising buys the sponsor has committed to for race telecasts and other NASCAR programming.
so your saying it is fixed?i love that answer you are probably right.
LOL - well done, and so true.
You are SO right about this!
I think you got it. Robby doesn't stand a chance! LOL
