All Star Race Voting

hey just a reminder that voting for the all star race in may just opened today from April 14- May 16. Vote for Robby just in case he doesnt race his way in. last year he was the runner up in votes so make sure this year he gets in! http://www.nascar.com/promos/allstar/

I always find it interesing that NASCAR never allows the poll results to be seen until the voting is over. I want to see who is winning everyday.

Voting at nascar.com won't be enough, no matter how many times we all click. Last couple of years the driver that the guys on speed's nascar raceday promoted on the air won entry into the field. And they'll get behind one of their own so my bet goes to waltrip. So in addition to voting all day every day, we gotta petition the guys on that show to get behind RG as well. I just spent considerable time searching speedtv.com but couldn't find a way to email them other than through their feedback form link at the bottom of the page. If anyone else fares better, please pass along! For a change, let's get someone in who deserves to race rather than whoever pals with the broadcasters.

We could beg till forever and the guys on Raceday wouldn't get behind Robby to see him get into the race. It's my hope that JIm Beam gets behind him again like they did last year with the fine in Daytona and the All Star.

The way I look at it, voting started yesterday and the great members of PlanetRobby started voting. My guess is, your casual fan probably won't start voting until they hear about it on Friday during qualifying or at the latest Saturday night during the race. So Robby has a 3-4 day head start in voting.. let's use it to our advantage. You're right, SPEED will probably try to back one of their boys (meaning Sadler or Waltrip), lets hope SPEED watchers can't decide between the two of them and divide the votes (kinda like how Bush Sr. lost to Clinton in 1992 because many republicans voted for Perot) and we are able to Vote Robby into the all-star race!!
