Ok, I thought after yesterday's tough race we would talk about something more positive. If you had to rate Robby's top 10 drives in Nascar, what would they be?

1. Richmond 2003- Comes back from 4 laps down to nearly win, finishing 4th when the tires gave out.

2. New Hampshire-2001 First career nascar win

3. .Sonoma 2003- Second career win..dominant the whole race weekend

4. Infineon 2001- One of the best races to watch as a Robby fan. Robby continuously put on a clinic coming through traffic and dominating the race late in the going. Only Kevin Harvick on fresh tires late in the event prevented Robby's first win by repeatedly beating on Robby's back bumper causing Robby to lose focus and let Tony Stewart by late in the going

5. Atlanta-2006- Comes from the back of the field 3 times,. luck finally catches up with him as he has a flat tire late, regulating him to a 18th place finish.

6. Watkins Glen 2002- Yes he didn't win but Robby put on a clinic all day. Went from 7th to 2nd in one lap ( got 4 cars before turn one, lap one) and dominated the early going. Bad gear setting and poor pit stops doomed Robby to 3rd

7. Watkins Glen 2005- Yes, another one he didn't win but put on a clinic coming through the field after starting 38th, including a sideways pass in the grass through the bus stop under Kahne. Was in the lead by lap 21. Finished 2nd to a dominant 20 car.

8. Watkins Glen 2003- Third career win in Nascar and possibly the least impressive. Had a 5th place car but lucked out by ducking onto pit road when Rusty Wallace got stuck in the sand trap. Came out behind 3-5 cars that had no business up front, passed them and checked out.

9. Phoenix 2004- Strong run all day. Was running down Jeff Gordon for the lead late in the going raising hopes for a New Hampshire repeat. A blown motor (a rarity at RCR) ended his day with 10 laps to go.

10 Darlington 2004- a Contender all day, came in 4th at Nascar's toughest track

And yes, I have the top 6 on tape and 7 of the top ten races :). So, what are your picks?

Reading No. 5 KILLS ME!!!! I had business outside of Atlanta that week. I bought a single start/finish line ticket, about 50 rows up (perfect seat) on-line, flew in early Sunday morning, got to the track by 11:00, and it POURED RAIN ALL DAY! Had to work all day Monday, when they actually RAN, so I followed it on the computer, as best I could, then saw the highlights at a local bar on Monday night... What a waste of a GREAT ticket (and the $85+/- that it cost!).

AT least we had some down-time on that Friday, so I drove down to Talladega and toured the Motorsports Hall of Fame - a trip that EVRY race fan should make!
The Richmond drive was the second best drive I've seen by anyone ever, and I've been attending both Richmond races since '92. The best race I ever saw though was Earnhardt Sr. in the '93 Coke 600, had a 5-lap penalty and raced back to win... Robby was a bat out of hell at that Richmond race though!
Didnt Start watching racing until late 04. I missed most of the great Robby Moments. My top 10
1. Montreal 07 The Montreal Screw Job

2. Atlanta 06. Had a winning car. Got screwed completely by Robbyluck.

3. Watkins Glen 05 No explanation needed

4. July 4th Daytona 08. If Menard doesnt hang Robby out to dry. The 7 goes to Victory lane.

5. 05/06 Busch Races at Watkins Glen. Same result for both so they count as one.

6. Talladega spring 06 Guided the Turtle Wax Ice/Menards Chevy to a solid 10th.

7. Dover Spring 07 Impressive 10th at the Monster Mile

8. Phoenix Fall 05 Top 10 all day and came home 8th

9. 2006 Fall Charlotte Car was awesome all night running 4th-8th most of the way until dumbass Yeley took out Robby and Mark failing to signal that he was coming to pit road.

10. Fall Talladega 07. Running 6th in a Stout Camping World/Thetford Ford until Labonte spins out and piles up the field.
Atlaanta Spring 2006- were 5th in HH....All I know is we were third and GAINING on Kahne the leader with 60 to go (like 1.5 seconds back) and everyone had to pit under green...we came down afirst and the biggest bullcrap debris caution of all time (they DID not show nor could find it on TV..in addition Harvick and Little E made comments on the radio as Robby was pitting "here comes the debris caution).

That one still chaps me...
Caution 8 - Laps 264 - 267: Debris in turn 1.

BS!!!!!
And I thought we had a REAL shot at the win at Talledega in Fall 2007.

Had a rocketship that day..were 5th and moving forward with 40 to go when Bobby Labonte Ran out of Talent...
