I'm thinking qualifying trim if his fastest time of 40.52 was qualifying trim.

You must realize, what RG had at Charlotte, etc, the other teams had earlier in the year. He is just at where the other cars are at. The "chassis" is no big deal anymore.

True, but he found something to run that much offset and still pass inspection, because most of the teams running the skewed cars early in the year stopped when Nascar changed the rules.
