From an interview with Earnhardt "We had a pit stop where I was told the right-front tire was only an inch over the line," Earnhardt said. "I was held a lap for that and I don't feel like that was a fair trade. Maybe it's time to re-evaluate that rule."
this coming from the "GOD" of nascar will they change this rule to a whole tire over the line?
should he have gotten the rough driving penalty for wrecking vickers like leffler did in the nationwide race?
i used to think JR was a clean driver and always came clean when he made a mistake but after this incident i feel he has changed i think someone talked to him and said the good old boy thing is not going to win you a championship you need to get out there and get aggressive even if it hurts other drivers.IMHO

I agree with you on the whole WWE thing. We see the rules change from week to week. I uderstand that you make the best call with what evidence you have. We saw a pack of cars taken out over a driver refusing to lift. We hear about the COT package not requiring 100% throttle. Those of us with PitCommand see Robby at 80-95% in the pack, certainly at Daytona Backstretch. Why would JR think a good run deserves the 83 pulling over? Here is my Q: Had the 83 done this to the 88, what would have happened?
A: parked the car for AT LEAST 5 laps, fined the driver points for the rough driving, and definite Probation!
he would have been serving his penalty on pit road just imagine if it was Robby he would have been run out of the sport.
Talk about a guy that has never lived up to the hype! Yet again he only has about a billion rabid fans that all want him to be his daddy! Kinda big shoes to fill when you started with only mediocre talent, and were more intrested in the party after the race than the race itself. That may not be the case now but during the years he should have been sharpening his game he was partying like a porn star! I don't dislike him I just think that the world of Jr nation sees talent that isn't really there! Also, maybe it is time to swap crew chiefs with the 48! See if Jimmy can win without Chad, and if Jr can win with him!
Dale Jr.'s about two more mediocre seasons away from being Kyle Petty.
We can only hope.
Correct.
