Darrell Waltrip and the whole homer crew on Speed need to go. I can deal with them showing the Wallaces and Waltrips over other drivers, but this is too much.

In practice yesterday, Darrell makes excuses for his brother wrecking in practice, saying the car in front of him got loose. Now a car gets loose in front of Robby, and of course Robby hit him according to that moron. Same exact scenario, except this time Kurt Busch even said he got loose on his radio.

What a joke.

Sorry had to vent.

I'm with ya there matt!
i agree with you, the dw mouth is getting old. it was fun in the beginning, but any more i would rather turn it off and go play outside with my daughter. good venting matt!
It looked like the 2 got loose THEN the 7 hit him. It looks like the 9 got loose BECAUSE the 55 hit him.
I agree with you Matt. Never have liked DW and all his boogity boogity bullshit.
USED TO LIKE OLD DW BUT HE IS GETTING ON MY NERVES LATELY.I DO LIKE THE FOX COVERAGE BETTER THEN ESPN.
I dont get Speed Channel usually, hence my issues today.

I was just watching Jimmy Spencer and Kenny Wallace review the duals.

Of course when these two get to the Kurt Busch wreck, they blame Robby, saying he was being dangerous and driving too aggressively, that he completely ran over the #2 car. They even went as far to say that it was lucky no one got seriously injured. Seriously.

Usually this stuff doesn't bother me too much, but I am starting to understand why fans have a negative perception of Robby. Its the media making him look like a wrecking crew. Kurt even said on his radio he got loose and spun.
it would be a surefire cost cut for fox while putting some extra $$$ into MNR/PRN. Which they could use to reduce costs to individual radio stations and extend the reach of nascar. Brilliant!
I like Larry McReynolds...he always points out Robby and other drivers not always in the spotlight.

DW is just a motor mouth...but keep Larry Mac
I was watching pre-race today and all they talked about was how important starting position was and why these races today were so important because of that. And then they would cut over to some driver talking about how it didn't matter where you start at Daytona because it's a plate race. If I could just get the race without the 'talkers', commercials, dumb jokes, screen banners/ads, etc....I'd take it!
I agree. This whole "good old boys" network of ex-drivers/crew chiefs-turned-analysts is so stupid. The only added insight they offer over a fan like you or me is their own experiences--which they usually convey in inside jokes anyway so NOBODY watching understands.

And you're absolutely right, they just talk talk talk just to hear their own voices. Have you ever read one of Darryl Waltrip's columns over on FoxSports? He types like he talks; "You know, folks...", "Gee folks...", "By golly folks..."...these commentators are the reason NASCAR cannot shake the "hick" persona, despite the fact that its fanbase is actually quite broad.
Idiot list: Jeff Hammond, Jimmy Spencer, Kenny Wallace, John Roberts, Hermie Sadler, Darrell Waltrip, Michael Waltrip, Andy Petree, ESPN pit road reporters, Chris Meyers, Boris Said
