Ragan blames Robby for making a mess in Shootout

"I don't know who was behind me," Ragan said outside the care center. "I think it was [Gordon], but he wasn't really paying attention and just drove into the back of us and kind of made a mess. It's just a typical deal here at Daytona and Talladega. When someone gets checked up usually two or three rows back someone doesn't see it."

True, Gordon said on his Speed TV interview before qualifying, "They checked up in front of us and I got into the 6, it was bad deal."

Robby went on to add they had no grip last night, bouncing around alot. He said they have a new harder tire. He added that if they were that bad at night, during the daytime should be real interesting.

Robby also said he will use the same plate strategy he used last year and that Toyota has a real strong plate program. (So expect Robby to run around the rear until about 50 laps to go)

Judging from the last line he ends up blaming what most people blame for wrecks at plate tracks. The plate tracks.

The good news / bad news is Robby is starting right in front of David. I wonder is David is stupid enough to try a payback on the first lap? We know that he dumped Robby last year for no reason. Maybe it was lack of talent.

WHo is Regan kidding? He wrecked in every segment! You check up and get hit, it's your fault. Regan is NOT a good driver, he had more DNFs than Robby last year and people (mainly Waltrip) make excuses for him. Learn to drive David. Joan

I agree Joan. David Ragan is a joke. Tell me where he's won a race...trucks? nope.....Nationwide?....nope.....Cup? nope. Ragan is with an exceptional team and that's why he's in the top 20 in points. That's it.

David Regan just punched his own ticket when he got into the back of Truex during the Duel....guess he wasn't paying attention and drove into the back of him...hmmmm
