"I don't know who was behind me," Ragan said outside the care center. "I think it was [Gordon], but he wasn't really paying attention and just drove into the back of us and kind of made a mess. It's just a typical deal here at Daytona and Talladega. When someone gets checked up usually two or three rows back someone doesn't see it."

No way, the racing last night was superb. I love watching these guys actually haivng tio "wheel it" at Daytona. Leave the tack alone.
alot of people think that Daytona being a super speedway that handling isn't a factor......far from the case.
Yeah, the audio feeds were choppy at times. I thought they were shifting their lines alot more than before. Robby was saying that the track was "bouncy" but that he was happy with the car so while I agree the track is wearing out, do you think it will prove to be more of a burden because of guys struggling with the surface?
Yey, it could have been lap 7 of the 500... I just think RG should have got back out there tonite to learn more. But that's not his style.
Maybe he should have gone to the garage in his beat-up Dodge and come out in the Toyota. Do you think NASCAR would have noticed?
that is too funny, He comes out in a stout Camry then wins and Nascar realizes it.....The Uprising 2009!!!!!!!
Ragan's an idioot. If he'd learn how to draft, he could judge his closing speed better. It looked like he had no idea where he was at on the track,& at the last second decided he didn't wanna slam the 48 into the turn. He did anyway,& needed to blame somebody. I'm def not sayin RG's innocent. He either didn't see what was happening in front of Ragan, or figured he'd move him(6) when it came down to it. Oh yeah, & lemme add, Ragan's spotter is an idiot too. It's his job to guide that idiot missle in the 6.
I know it's a non-points race but after all the momentum of the off season off road runs, it looks like business as usual in NASCAR. Hope he does better in the 500
That was a pure Daytona deal....looked to me like it was Kenseth or Burton got loose and that started the whole check up deal...I couldn't really tell..but it was a car with Yellow on it...

David Ragan.......he sure does have alot on his resume to come out and start pointing fingers.......That's what happens when you are riding around Daytona in the back with drivers like Ragan....you end up getting wrecked....not really anybody's fault...when you around inexpirience that stuff is going to happen (and even with expirience)...Maybe if Ragan woould have driven his car instead of shating his pants and slamming on the breaks Robby wouldn't have ass ended him...

No big deal........non points race.....

Anybody else notice that the handeling of the cars is going to make for an intresting Daytona? I almost think on restarts I would want to be 1st...or start about 4 football fields behind everybody else.....

Whatever...it was the shootout.......
Too true Tim. Just hope RG sees this is NOT going to be a 500 to lay back. We'll see more of these rookie mistakes in the twins.
Three in a Row? ARCA wreckfest; Shootout wreckfest, so do you think that the Duels will also be a wreckfest?
I think last night will confirm the "lay-back" strategy in Robby's mind. Harvick lost the draft a couple of times and still won. I look for Robby to stay way back during the 500 until the end.
