"I don't know who was behind me," Ragan said outside the care center. "I think it was [Gordon], but he wasn't really paying attention and just drove into the back of us and kind of made a mess. It's just a typical deal here at Daytona and Talladega. When someone gets checked up usually two or three rows back someone doesn't see it."

Every driver will wreck someone or be wrecked by someone during the season.
Notice Regan never said I checked up...just Robby drove into the back of us. What a punk!
Just like in real driving, whoever runs into the back of you , usually gets the ticket from the cop. Case closed !
On Victory Lane...even Spencer said, "They all stacked up and caused a chain reaction until the 6 checked up hard and the 7 got into him. Then those around you have nowhere to go. You're gonna see alot of this when drivers start shuffling & dicing around."
Wait until the 500...see who checks up then...punk!
There is NO SHAME in admitting your driver makes a mistake every now and then. No need to sweep close racing mistakes under the rug.
Unless you have to defend your driver to an in-law who was rooting for the other guy.
What a mess I had tonight.
yeah, those are usually tough battles to win.
that's racin....see you on thursday ragin.
10-4 to that,

end of the day, who really cares who was at fault in a non-points race.
Well, he did make a mess. Not that it was intentional. Just a racing deal. No need to get all upset with Ragan's statement. What he said was the truth. It's not like he said Robby wrecked him on purpose and shouldn't be out there. Let's just hope this is Robby's only bent sheetmetal for the rest of Speedweeks.
There is going to be a LOT of work in the fab shops after Daytona. 8 of 28 cars actually survived to take the checkers.

I know the cars dance around but tonight was the worst I can remember. This will cause lots of check ups which will cause a lot of accidents. The track needs a fresh layer....it did wonders for Tally.

BTW...was it just my Directv feed or were there a ton of audio dropouts in the broadcast?

Anyway, to quote Rob after the wreck....F---!
