how the EFF the 47 and 96 are locked in on Owners points....lol.

JTG/Daugherty is the owner of the 47, but somehow they can use the #00 points of MWR?

Moorad and company still owns the 96, but they get the 38 points??

I dont; care if JTG and Morrad buy MWR and Yates dinner for the year and gives them the pickle tickle...the point of the matter is what they did amounts to a SALE of owner points for FREE to a Team that did not earn them.

And yet EGR cannot sell off their 2 extra cars that had owner points, but then pull the same bullshit with Front Row Motorsports....

Yup! thats the one! lol. What a complete cluster F that was by Nascar...
Without digging further, one could probably make a case that this instance really brought the whole "buying" of"...oops, I mean merging, partnering, or doing technical alliances to gain points into the forefront. Had NASCAR nixed this idea (yeah right...and have their pr machine miss races early into his "car owner" experiment?), and thus nixed other ideas after that, we wouldn't be discussing this. And thus, the debate rages on...lol.
And Front Row doesn't even have to use the number! I suspect this "alliance" goes on as long as Front Row comes up with the $$$ to pay for it. Now, if Andretti gets the 01 or 15 from the last 'dega race, it could be interesting.
It would matter to you if Robby would have finished 36 last year and teams that didn't even exist or ran two races got automatic bids.
Lance, On Thursday, February 12th, around 5-6pm EST, why don't you go down to Daytona and ask Roger Penske/Sam Hornish (#77), the Wood Brothers/Bill Elliot(#21) and Furniture Row/Regan Smith(#78) if it matters...lol Please videotape those interviews! :)
nascar writes the rule book as they go yeah its a joke but we still watch it
