Not sure quite yet, but noticed on Nascar.com new updated web page under the Bud Shootout Practice Leaderboard and Cup Series Practice Leaderboard that scanner is listed as an option now.

I hope they've added this feature for 2009. I really think it would be better for fans to listen to the driver & crews communicate during practices also.

If you haven't ever listened to trackpass during a race, I can say it makes things alot more interesting. You can get a 14-day free trial to try it. I highly recommend trying it.

(CAUTION: WHILE LISTENING TO ROBBY GORDON YOU MIGHT BE EXPOSED TO UNCENSORED LANGUAGE)

I noticed that too. During boring races I often would watch some other sporting event with my laptop. Trackpass would show a caution and I would flip back to Nascar and about five seconds later they start piling up.
The delay drives me crazy but wadda ya gonna do...

It is nice to know what's going on even when things aren't going so well.

I can't remember the race last year or who was CC...the consensus was that the shock package was just wrong and Rob would just not stop bitching about it. (I mean what can you do at that point but do the best you can) The CC finally shot back in a clam voice..."well you could always pull it into the garage and we could change it." Rob had two words..."Stop it!"
Sly, I remember that! I have missed Robby's "color" during the off season!
this would be awesome and make friday afternoons very enjoyable at work!!! :)
DO THEY REALLY CENSOR THE FEED???
To be honest, mine has never been censored. I always get Robbys tirades. Just luck?
