I've never followed this race before.. After looking at the link you sent me. I clicked on the different car numbers and i guess a driver can drive different cars? as long as the car belongs to the same team????
They can be listed on multiple cars on the entry list, but whatever car they lead off driving in, is the one they stay in for the race.
Some cars are solely on entry list for back-up if something happens to a main team car.
Ryan driving the 60 car is now 9th 3 laps down. Wonder if they are going to have a driver change soon. Now Ryan is 7 laps down, something must have happened. To bad I don't have Sirius
Lap 264 (8:36:30) - FULL COURSE YELLOW as No. 60 RYAN HUNTER-RAEY stopped on the NASCAR Turn 4 apron.

no idea what happened or what is going on with the 60 car. Appears to be out of the race, currently 29th 41 laps down
If you don't mind me asking, where did you get that update?
I had a site last year that gave 'notes' on the race and the site is pretty much non-existant now. :(
60 car out of race by what I've been following :( Was having a good run too! Engine is what I've heard.
Per media guy of Sunday Group Management...

Matt Cleary: both cars had the same problem-some sort of timing sensor in the motor on both the 6 and 60 cars. it was going to be 4 hours at least to fix
only 50 minutes left. 4 cars are still in it with 1.5 seconds seperating them.
Great race. Go JPM!
JPM needs to get the lead back!!!
Screw JPM! And Ganassi!
I know!!! I don't care for him either!!! But I love Scotty :)
You can beat if Scotty was in that car for the last leg, he'd still have the lead.
