Graduated Seton Hall Law School in 2000....NJ and NY bar passed...am currently the Director of PC Support and Systems Management there...and I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night! :)
Dega is my favorite race place! The gang is talking Dega again for next year, but if I had my way it would be every year. Just something about that place you can't get at any other track. Bristol is a great track too. The track has lowered their prices again this year which tells me they are listening to the fans and the economy. Now if the hotels in the area would do the same!!
Hope you have a great week!
Doing well here. Thinking about what races I want to do next year as I just got my Bristol renewal form in the mail. Just not wanting to deal with winter as I hate cold weather.
How are things with you?
Took me a bit, but I got thru them! You are as bad as I am with taking pictures. I esp. enjoy looking back at the different paint schemes years later and the progression of the designs/models of the cars. I was at the 2009 Dega race with some other Planeteers here. We went over to the Beam party at the Montana Saloon up the road from the track to party and carry on with Robby. It was a great time. Then again Dega usually is! Up until 2 years ago, I hadn't missed the first race of the season at Dega since '93. It is too expensive to go to most of the races now, and they just don't seem to be as much fun.
As for the race today, the bad rendition of the National Anthem set the tone for me. I had it on in the background while I did stuff around the house until the last 30 laps. As a Harvick fan, the outcome was great!
Have a great week!
Just checked my messages & saw yours from Aug. 1st - LOL - ROLL TIDE!!! Other than Infineon, watching this non-eventful racing season has left me dying for some action on TV. I cannot WAIT for football season to start. Not sure if you realize this, but I'm from & live in Louisiana. Yep, makes life very interesting during football season. And yes, we display & fly our BAMA flags & decals proudly. Used to get harassed by lsu people, but now they pretty much keep their mouths shut.......
Thanks for the invite, but I am one of the few who doesn't do facebook. I am fortunate to have a side job which allows me access to a lot of people who went to my high school. When the previous site (RUR) went down, most of my friends here and I came up with other ways to keep in touch. As for the photos, I can relate. I always seem to take way too many, but they are my souvys instead of a lot of shirts, hats, etc. from the track.
I have a lot going on now so I don't get here as much as I used to. Please don't be offended if you don't hear from me on a timely basis. Promise, I will get better when things calm down. Have a fantastic weekend- well what is left of it!
