I don't know if Chicago could "survive" a Sox/Cubs series......but it would be DAMN fun to find out!

You people refers to anyone who thinks Walter Giles is God. I know you know more than most here, so I doubt your part of that group. Being immature and being for real are two different things.

It's all good...we both agree sometimes and sometimes we don't agree...yet we can still have a productive conversation about it...the fact we can discuss it without "name calling", everything else aside...let's me know (and I know you don't need my blessing) that you are a good person.........

Would it piss you off if I told you I was a Sox fan?

Keep the avatar, it has character, like I believe Robby has, for a number of reasons. Got my Monster shirt on ready for the race.Just getting watch the Detroit Grand Prix, held on Belle Isle, in the middle of the Detroit river. it's a beautiful park and great for watching freighters, but I can to the same thing driving 10 miles east to St. Clair .Roger Penske is a hero in this area for the race and a lot of other functions he has helped facilitate for "Detroit". (Super Bowl ) Here's to some luck a great finish for the #7 today...the whole team needs it and there won't be so much bitching from armchair QB's here later, take care, Mike, Chris

All is well, grandson who lives with me is a senior this year so we're almost at the end of that road..., now if only Robby can keep it together for the end of the racing season and get some luck. I know this mess is not from lack of effort and I really feel for all those at RGM working so hard. Wasn't their effort to get the #7 back on the track Sat night amazing, and without a mention from the talking heads that I heard, although i was listening to the scanner in another room and may have missed it, but I doubt it. Have a great weekend , Mike , take care, Chris

Yes, "Micro Brews" would be the Aussie-American translation. Some of them actually might be easier to get over threre than here. But please, don't judge Aussie beers by Fosters and XXXX alone. Seriously, they're swill. Redback isn't bad.

Good Aussie beers... a matter of taste really, but if you were somehaow able to find Fosters here (I can't think of anywhere that actually sells it) and got caught drinking it in public you'd be laughed out of the country. Most people drink Hahn, VB or Toohey's but the boutique beers are getting pretty big. A lot of pubs now make their own beer - the Regatta down the road from me makes Regatta Pale Ale but they only sell it there and refuse to import. The beer market is a lot like the wine market Down Here now. Try these sites...

(My dad was a wine writer who wrote a yearly guide to new wine releases and the occasional pub guide and beer book.)

Cool story on the ride along car - guess it was a left over from his older fleet - kind of surprised they left it a Chevy though.... I sprayed black primer on my Verizon Fusion model today - hoping it will turn out nice!

Yeah - that's partly why I wore my uprising shirt to Pocono -- to kind of put it in his face. I like the guy and all, but I'm the kind that likes to tell people when they're being a "nudge."
