Grew up racing myself - still do quite abit of desert stuff. Lots of friends and family in the racing industry - ie/ Crower, Herbst, Alesi

You are correct Valhalla - class of 89. Yep, i beleive Dan was one or two years ahead of me. I started racing what i call "pro" in 85 - 86. If you can believe this, i raced several BIG desert races on three wheelers with team honda. Old school.
nice to see a Robby Fan around - hate to say it but there hard to find. You typically wont catch me posting - just lurk for the latest scoop.

I was good friends with Jeff Grafton too - course i know bottle rock & hippy hollow - good times.

hey Nikal, seen Jeff Grafton's name on here,kinda wierd as his name just came up with myself and a freind, I used to race 80's with him a bit, I'm from L.A., used to race Perris, DeAnza, with Mcgrath, guy named Mike Chamberlain, 1985-87, went to Barona Oaks few times and met grafton, didn't get a chance to know him much, but was just talking about him a few days ago, i remember all the JG stickers that everyone had, small world-ever rode Batiquos Lagoon off Pointsettia in Carlsbad-the place ripped, My freind Spencer Sharp lived right above it-rode it daily. take care

Dude, I don't remember the last time I agreed with you, but you got a bullseye today.
All I can add to that last post is, it also doesn't help if everything behind said GEM motor is diff from GEM cars. Can't put the same power to the wheels (regardless of how they handle) if your not using the same equip.

The Goodyear Prjects on my jeep are off of Kyle Talors Class 1. He lives down the street, been friends for years here in Hemet. Hemet used to be the home of off-road racing in the day, however I grew up in Blythe racing cars.

As a kid Bob sr. would buy Hay for Gordon feed From my uncle. Rode aaround the valley with him and Robby when he and I were way young.

Thanks, the car was built Kent Lothringer, if you are not familiar he does quite a few 1/2 1600 cars, 5, 10 and 12s. Its one of 5 or 6 of the bigger (prerunner) 4 seaters he has built. Was completed in 06 and mainly hangs out in Parker, AZ. was in Kent's booth at Contingency at this years 425 for a while.Were you there? Has a redline 500 hp LS2 and most of the goodies, mostly just a family cruiser, poker runs and stuff. Not sure how or where to post pictures here?

If you want to send me your email, I can send over some pictures. Kent has a smaller version of the 4 seater that supports a V-6 very well. In our group we have 4 of those cars, 1 turbo Type 1, NA v-6 Toyota, Turbo V-6 Toyota, NA V-6 Chevy. Stop by his shop some time, he's right by the Pomona Fair Grounds. kevin@integratedmechanical.com
