Glad you had a good time it definitely sounds strange Susan not having wings. Hopefully we don't get that waitress again! Keep me posted on Susan and what she finds out tomorrow at the doctor. That is too funny about the Pastor and his Ohio State tie (love it).

Had a great time at the track. It was in the 60's and low 70's. Weather couldn't have been better. I'm slowly but surely uploading some of my photos (in between working) With Cliff walking around like he owned the place and belonged we end up in all sorts of places we really weren't supposed to be. shhhh don't tell. He was thrilled to get Robby's autograph on his cowboy hat and get his picture with him. Also got his picture with Ron Hornaday. More later!

Woohoo, the Great White Hunter was successful! He and the 10 pointer are still in the woods as we speak! I got the news by cell!

Well, my weekend is about over and it turned out okay. My Buckeyes are on their way to a Rose Bowl and RG had an okay day. Friday was a great day for KHI. This week will be a short week for me because I'm taking Baja Friday off. Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Catch you later.

Hey there!! How are things by you? Things here ok. No job yet and I am getting ready for Thanksgiving. I cook. It looks like we will have about a dozen here. Little one and I have asked one of the "kids" from Ronald McDonald house with his mom to come to our house for dinner on Thanksgiving so it may be a little more. Little one hangs out with this kid when we volunteer at the house. He is from Belarus(spelling?) so he definitely has no family here. We thought it would be nice to have him and his mom here. Hope all is well. I did send a card to your buddy. Let me know if she got it. Hopefully she will take it in the right way. Have a great day!!!!

Hi Sarah - I've been checking out the Baja pages - I sure hope he wins this thing - so much can happen in the race and penalties cost him a win last entry - I've been not saying much for fear of jinxing him. We know he did have a bad crash in AZ while testing, and his cheek bone still looks swollen. I downloaded a couple of photos and printed them out one of RG and his Dad, and another of him with Baja Bill. I would love to see him win this year. Joan

On lunch I just checked the Baja pre-race - #77 was not there, guess he's skipping it - don't know if that is a good move or not - better to become familiar with the route & hazards before the race. Joan

Hi Sarah - Walt Pendelton will be hooking up with RG in the desert - he's covering the thing and will be taking videos for our Bajaholics pg. Don't have time right now to get the updates, but will on lunch. Feeling OK - weather here been rain, rain, but today is nice sunny and actually warm for Nov. like 50 degrees. Made baked apples the other night, the apples came from the Hudson Bay area and were like a cross between a golden and red. Very nice for baking. Wish you could be here to try one. Joan

No, I don't have a picture of it at night. I believe I've seen one, probably on a postcard. I bet it was really beautiful. Funny how certain things make us think of people. :) If today's race is anything like yesterday's, I will have a great last race.

I am currently basking in a happy little glow because I have shared a hug with the 2009 SCORE International Champion! That is just so sweet and he earned it and then some! This may just be the catalyst for a great Dakar and might carry over into next year! I'm still spinning and picked up some more wool today!

Hi Sarah - I was pissed off yesterday--they didn't even interview Denny Hamlin and did not show him getting his trophy for winning the Homestead race - it was all JJ. Nothing against JJ he earned it, but to totally ignor Hamlin and his win was just ignorant ( I guess NASCAR'S still mad at him for "the incident"- If I were a Hamlin fan or his Mom & Dad, I'd be furious) And, of course, they did not say Robby had won the Baja Championship - not even on Despain's show, it was still all JJ - the only mention on-air during the race was someone saying Robby had flown up from Baja - no mention he was the Champion. I saw that on a little ticker at the bottom of the screen during Despain's show. Andy McMillin was 1st, Robby 5th but he had enough points to win. I hope after the thing they don't try and take points away like they did the last time. I tried to print out the race report from Robbygordon.com, but it would not print for me - have no idea why. If you can get it to print or e-mail it to me I will give you my e-mail address. Hope you had a good weekend the weather here was really nice, today! Not so much, rain today & tomorrow. JoanI

Hey Sarah, thanks for the greetings.....Dec is too close. .....Although my grandkids are older now (14,17 and 19 in Feb EEEKKKK!) and $$$$ solves all my past X-mas shopping woes.. The weather in Mi (I'm about 35 miles N of Detroit and Canada is about 9 miles east, across the St. Clair river) has been amazing, daytime temps in the 50's and not dropping much at night so it is warmer than Oct was.... It's scary. I have had menfolk hunting on my property (bow and gun) since Oct 1st and am the "cruise director of who is where, when and what they saw or shot.and I am ready for snow up the wazoo just to slow it all down, I only feed everyone a couple times a week, husband, relatives, ex-relatives and whomever is on the invite list. I better get a really nice Christmas present. I get a kick out of that male bonding stuff but as B.B. King said, "The thrill is gone".Anyway thats why I haven't been around much lately..plus hubz retired in June and since taken up the stock market for fun and profit. He never used to touch my computer and now I have to jump in where I can. I am so sad for Robbys sponsorship woes. Robby/Nascar takes up so much of my life from Fri-Sun and if Robby isn't racing I'm goint to have a lot of time in my hands .See previous B.B.King statement.
