That sucks! I wonder why, they took it all the way to Sonoma?? They can't sell the merchandise if they don't send it to the tracks. I am doing great, it is already hot and humid down here. Sorry you still haven't gotten rid of that crap. I'm lucky that I don't get many sinus ailments, but my husband does. Try taking vitamin C, that really helps boost the immunity system. We are getting ready to head back to Michigan next week. This time going all the way to the UP. The usual touristy spots, Mackinaw Island, Souix St Marie, Pictured Rocks. We are supposed to be leaving on my birthday (Saturday) and I want to be back here Thursday, so I can see racing. I'm bummed we are going to miss watching Loudon, but I will tape it. Hi Sweets! Sounds like you've been busy. We have two more trips planned...I think! May end up being more with September and October trips...haven't made those plans yet. How about going camping in the backyard? That's a great place to start! The kids would love it! Sad day on Sunday at Sonoma, huh? I was so bummed. And the whole Baja thing was kind of nutz too! When will Robby's luck turn around? He's a great driver and mostly nice to his fans (I think he relates the guys better and likes the pretty girls....). But anyway...it is what it is!

Hey Babe!!!!! WE did indeed have a great time at the races! Our company just left after breakfast and are now headed home!!! The rain did shorten the race a little, BUT, there is NO WAY they were gonna be able to get it started again! It STILL hasn't stopped raining here since we left the track last night at 6:30 pm! Sooooo, it was a good call to end it!!!! Path has a brief report on her page under her blogs! And YES, she did find Robby and got to talk to him for quite a bit! Thanks for the birthday wishes. I had a great time on my birthday (Saturday). We drove all the way up to the UP. We stopped at the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America in Novi. Not a great museum, but some interesting things. In the gift shop they had one of Robby's 31 Cingular Wireless 1/64 cars, that had Robby's signature on it. I asked my husband to buy it for my birthday and since he is such a great guy, he did and didn't even make fun of me. Anyway, Sunday we spent on Mackinac Island, beautiful weather and a great day. Sarah and Path called from the race track. It was so cool. We spent the rainy day today at Pictured Rocks National Seashore and Tahquamenon falls. Right now we're in Traverse City and should end up around Holland tomorrow night. Sounds like more rain for tomorrow. Lucky us! I suppose you are getting some of this as well.

Luck does play into the picture and I was amazed when I heard Robby's voice. Understand that there were people all around me who said "you're wearing the right hat, get to the front." One of them said, "you go girl, get up front.: That's exactly what I did and basically ended up standfing right in front of Robby. He looked right at me (at least at the hat) and I almost think he was pleased to have one of his people right up front! As for the hug - that's pretty easy - all you gotta do is ask!

Hey Sheila. I'm so ready for race night! We have had thunder and light showers most of the morning and I hear it rumbling again. I'm ready to pop the top on a Monster (Mouse knows what those do to me), sit back and watch Robby get a finish like he did in Michigan, if not better. Enjoy the race!

My boy Harvick better stay right where he is!! I know he is pissed at Chevy, but he makes a good team with RCR. If you get a chance, look at the newer merchandise on his trailer and tell me you don't notice something. It would be really hard to cheer for Harvick and not cheer for RCR. It wasn't too bad with Robby as I still had the Harvick connection. If you haven't guessed, I am a very loyal RCR person. Have been since 88 and I have no plans to change that now.

Where is that place you're thinking of vacationing? Saw the new Harry Potter movie last night. Good movie, just long! Surprised the boy stayed awake til midnight to watch it all. Busy weekend this past one as we had our class reunion. FUN FUN FUN!! and also so busy. Weather here has been beautiful for the most part. We got a little rain on Friday, but not much more. Did you forget who I am???lol My bad, please forgive....Tell Aimee that in spite of Nascar's attitude second place is to be proud of....not everybody make the playoffs. We have had a lot of LL baseball in Richmond the last few weeks. Playoffs in the last week. , but I haven't heard who won....had a death of a teenager who would have graduated with my grandson, had he stayed in the area this week. Very sad and my heart goes out to his parents and grandparents , who know well. God has a plan for all of us, but I think there were tears in heaven for the family's loss.....Say hi when you are able, hugs, Chris

OMG, poor Hailey.What a trauma to experience....I am assuming it was #s 8and9, the two central uppers?Did they break at the gum line of just crack about half off? .It's not the end of the world, but scary and expensive.. I was a dental assistant for 15 years and saw way too many kid accidents with similar results. How old is Hailey? Growth will bring about changes that will require new crowns , in all probability..Tell her she will always have the prettiest smile and not to give away her "secret".Have a great time with " gramps". I thought it was pretty good for Pocono. A lot of drama for RG as usual. I'm not a Hamlin fan, but he fits in the anyone other than Hendricks group, so I'm happy for him.
