Overcast today so no much will melt! Some kind of rain/snow thing is coming in the first of the week so that could be interesting! How is the kickboxing coming along?

sorry i was on but i wasn't signed in , before when you came on a window popped up and i was able to accept it, now i'm not sure we will have to go on at the same time and see if you can find me.....lol........now they are not on the other computer since the battery charger totally died......hmmmm maybe things will get done now.

Have not gotten my boots yet but am watching another pair! Still overcast and they lied about it being in the 40's today! Not a chance. If we could get to the 50's I would be dancing and the snow melting!

Hey sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you I have been really busy with work and work and wife and kid and dog and cats and oh yeah FRIGGIN SNOW i am so sick of it...hope all is going well with you and yours.

Normally I don't watch the game, just the commercials! I was furstrated by the end result cuz I don't like the Steelers and their quarterback is a big goon! The Clydedale commercials weren't too bad but most of the others were strange!

Ok, I am more or less back in the land of the living - I hope. Can't seem to totally shake the crud I picked up. Things have calmed down some at work - thank goodness, but I have a feeling that things are going to be picking up again soon. Cowboys are a good diversion - trust me ;-) And there really are some similarities between race car drivers and cowboys - and it's more then the fact both have to be slightly nuts to do what they do. Ah, now I am going to return to work with happy thoughts and a silly smile on my face. hee hee ttyl!

Hey there!! I am exhausted. I cooked all day yesterday as I did all of the food for the gathering after the services. I did not get home until after 1am last night and then couldn't fall asleep until after 2. The alarm going off at 7 was not appreciated. The boys are all home today and stupid me did not take the day off and work is piling up. Oh well. Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers.
Hopefully (if I still am awake) I will be able to chat tonight.

Hi - I've ben so busy at work, no time to check in. Robby's going to be in the shootout - not sure how he got there - he didn't have a pole last year, guess with all the changes, etc. he made it in on owner points or something. Have to check - He will be in the Dodge for the Shootout then in the Toyota for the race. We had horrible weather snow, etc. But it's supposed to warm up this weekend. Thanks for checking in. Joan

hey sarah, sorry i missed chat last night , my oldest injured her thum/wrist playing volleyball in gym had to get it xrayed, not broke but badley sprained.....just love sitting in the er for hours, lol.......hubby's been working xtra late this week so its all up to me around here......hope you are having a good friday ,saw some racing stuff yesterday.....woohoo....i'm soo ready. i hope this "heatwave" melts this stuff . ttyl love ya

Hi Sarah, bless your heart for noticing that I wasn't around lately. We had a real tragedy in our community last Sat. night....a young man that my grandson had played football with last year took his life...it was just so sad and upsetting to our "kids". He has been escorted out from the Snowcoming dance after the principle noticed he smelled of alcohol... he was given a MIP at the police station, his 3 or 4th and taken home by his father. The dad went back to the school with a daughter to pick up the car and Andrew took his life when the family was out of the house. He was a sweet boy, a great looking kid, who had a problem for a few years and was in the process of counseling, but "didn't want to go to jail"......there must have been so much sadness and conflict in his heart. It was a hard week for our kids, the high school has under 500 students, so everyone knows everyone...They found out as they were leaving the dance and the news spread like wildfire with IM, texting and cell phones. My grandson called me and he was crying so hard he could hardly talk....My first thought that they had got into an accident and the second was he's o'k. because he can call me....Andrew was such a nice kid, always has a smile on his face, ....my husband allowed him to hunt on our property because he appreciated Andrew's joy of doing such, a privilege not many are granted.So hug all the teenagers in your life an extra time tonight , because you just never know.Andrew has found the peace he sought on earth, I am sure. If he only could have imagined the wall to wall people at the funeral home and the standing only room at the church from people who loved him so.This probably isn't the venue to write this, but it helps me.Sorry if I over stepped the Plants "bounds".
