I can't bust on anybody for slacking on postings---I am just as guilty. My cold almost went away but has decided to come back so I haven't been in the sweetest dispostion lately. Other than that I'm doing fine.

Fireplace is indeed delightful, until it gets too cold. Course I have no oil in my tank, and I'm really glad we didn't buy when it was $4.00 a gallon.

Having a good day so far. I was outside doing some yard work like cleaning out the gutters. Weather was nice, but now it is raining. Glad it is not snow!!! Got to get to the store to get the ingredients for the holiday meal. Any good plans for you??

I am expecting a visitor from the south (just north of the border) for the holiday weekend. Gotta do some housecleaning today. Enhoy the farm and I will be happy to trade my cooler weather for your warm temps. Don't eat too much turkey!!

The snow in question only lasted for 10 minutes and then it was about 50. YEAH!! Hate snow!! Natives to the area know how to drive in it, but there are so many from the Balt./Wash. area that do not!

My Thanksgiving turned out to be pretty much nonexistent. Since company had to cancel at the last minute (unexpected problems that required immediate attention), I pretty much skipped the whole thing.....didn't even go to the family gathering. But, hey, I lost 2 lbs rather than gaining anything so all was not lost.

Well it is Wed. now. Have to get some of "those" emails out today. It is either feast or famine here too. Actually, the am and right before I get ready to head home are my busiest times. Have a good one!

We have had rain and snow for the last 10 days , so it's a mess. I can relate to that -- some of my family members I would just as soon not have to see (or listen to, actually) and that did contribute to my decision to skip it. Now I get to start dreading the Christmas rush! hee hee hee

We got about a half inch of the crap, which knocked out power here for a little over a day!! House got quite cool, but the fireplace made it bearable! Thanks for your concern!!! I was working last Thursday night and didn't see CSI. I will see it this week for Grissom's last episode. We now have snow - enough to shovel!

You did fine with your weather request! I had a GREAT time -- four-wheeling in the sand one day, horseback riding the next day, touring on a Harley for New Year's Day, trips to Matamoros, and of course wining and dining! How can the 'real world' compete with all that??? I fell in love with the RGV -- I could pack up and relocate for the weather alone!
