hey sarah hope you had a great christmas , mine was pretty good all this craziness for one day. well i am no longer working at Giant, it was way to much working almost everyday and then coming home and doing my "other" job it was becoming a major problem at home things were not getting done, so hubby and kids were like we want you back home. i kind of miss it but now at least my house is clean and the wash is done again, lol. hows work going? kids are off all this week so at least i get to enjoy them . have a good monday!!!!!ttyl

Having a great time! Brownsville is a beautiful city, kind of spread out over a large area but with none of the 'rush-rush' big city feel. Very laid back atmosphere, very friendly. And did I mention it's beautiful?

Oh man, and didn't my messages just get totally out of hand over the holidays. So...I'm taking a few minutes this AM to catch up on correspondence. The wine was very good - almost a desert wine but everyone liked it. Beau has pretty much taken over the running of the house but he continues to let us live here. I haven't had a cat that likes to play in so long I had forgotten how much fun they can be. Anyway, Happy New Year to you!

hey sarah i'm finally back online , my laptop landed on the floor and the lcd screen broke last thursday. what a way to start the new year, lol. was just gonna throw it out and i called dell on monday and it was fixable and covered. so now i have to catch up. hope you had a great new year!!!!!! ttyl

ahh so you were on the west coast right? Must be nice, I could use the warm of Florida right now. Thanks for the thoughts. It is scary place and we will be all right financially if I lose my job. It will be extremely tight but we won't lose our house etc so we are better off then most people. I thank God for that. I have been monitoring the Dakar pretty regular. It has been fun and nice to see. Robby finished 3rd in today's special and stands 7th overall I believe. Take care

My dad is aways good for good stories and my stepdad, Randy, is driving one of the big support trucks. Poor guy packed 2 small bags with 18 tshirts, 9 pair of pants, 18 pairs of socks, 3 sweatshirts and a ton of beef jerky. Showers are a luxury and they plan on throwing away dirty clothes. Sounds like a ton of fun. Wish I was there, really.... I will post what I hear....

I was bad and didn't follow your advice -- stopped for lotto tickets on the way home AFTER WORK and couldn't resist grabbing a Big Black (which is very similar to Mean Bean and probably my 2nd favorite flavor). Umm, probably too late in the day to be drinking that! Mouse should try the Monster Java...it couldn't hurt his old age stuff. hee hee

yes the mini laptops are a little hard to get used to i'm having trouble seeing it and i know there is a way to make the writting bigger i just haven't figured it out yet. i got a good deal on this one which is why i bought it . i hope robby likes and does well with toyota it would be good to have him running in the top ten every week ........ a girl can dream can't she , lol.......ttyl have a good night, love ya

We're in clean out mode right now. I have been out shoveling and now the "mouse" is out shoveling. We got at least 6 inches but it's pretty light and fluffy. there was a huge accident on I-93 this AM involving at least 59 vehicles, 3 buses and 2 TT's.Talk about a mess and the interstate is closed while they clean it all up. No really bad injuries but some folk were taken to area hospitals.

Still waiting for my car repairs. Unfortunately the church bus gets the service time this weekend. That's what happens when you have to depend on your kid for help....sigh. He is going to try to get it over to his friend's heated garage one night this week.

ah yes i was reading mouse's comment to you regarding the kick boxing , lol . i'm not really a "sports" person except for the racing , i used to go to hockey games when our friends had season tickets every year we would buy a few games of course that was before all four kids came along......as for baseball well i like going to the games its fun but i can't watch on tv its to boring . hope you have a good monday!!!!!!!love ya ttyl
