I will have them ready to order next week with delivery in a few eeks. I am trying to figure out if I like the red logo or the green logo better than the other. I like em both, so maybe I will have all available! any thoughts ?
As of right now, I can only accept a payment via paypal account for the tees as that is very simple for me to manage everything. It's nice to have everything done electronically. Also folks with paypal accounts can use their credit cards to buy stuff, as I am not going to have a big productline. Just a few shirts, hats and stickers.Hopefully I have the stickers and decals by next week, that way when the t-shirts arrive, I can give a few free stickers to the first round of individuals who bought shirts.
Hi again, I left a message (I think yesterday) but don't see it here. If I offended you - let me know. Please keep in touch. I hope Robby wins at the Brickyard - that would be so wonderful for him, vindication of sorts. Joan
Hi there - I put up a blog today, but if you can get on NASCAR.COM there is a Jim Beam thing on right now and video of Robby. I asked if you were offended because I'd sent you a "not racing" thing called My Lilving Will - it was funny and thought you would get a chuckle. Also I had asked if you at any time worked for RG (not too personal I hope). Way back when I was in PR and advertising - that is why I wish Robby would do more self-promotion and get into commercials. It would help offset some of the financial knocks he had this year. I know this is long, but if you get the Scene I could not find RG in the photo with R. Petty. If you find him, let me know where he is standing. Love ya - Joan
Hi a new week already - Your dog is so adorable!! I was busy last week too, but did check in occasionally. RG hasn't posted anthing new on the 'home' page all week. I placed a call to order some merch, but Marchetta has not responded. He's keeping us in the dark. Wish I could meet RG for more than an autograph minute and tell him from my old years of experience what he should be doing as far as PR is concerned. He should be doing all the things Junior did before Jr. left DEI - RG should be in commercials, and in mags, etc. He could amass $$ in no time, he does not realize that it's not his race team, but himself that sells, he is his own industry and he hasn't grasped that concept. What do you think? Joan
I Just left an e-mail to Caravello on his item on Tony Stewart. My e-mail read: Tony -" so BIG DEAL - No one made such a fuss when Robby Gordon went out on his OWN and I mean alone, no one helping him or offering him $$ to come on over. Nobody speculated how Robby would do when he left RCR. I'd have more respect for Tony if he had done it Robby's way." Joan
Yesterday sucked!!! That was not a race, it was a NASCAR farce. Poor Robby (if you read his home page) had tire issues all during the race, and came in for tires, and the caution came out to put him a lap down. He got back, but his comment was he just rode around trying to stop tire wear. He was afraid to race because if he blew a tire he wouldn't finish. Ryan Newman also complained - and others too, glad I didn't pay to see that "race".Joan
Hi R699 - Good one - gave me a laugh. You know I really feel sorry for those who were in the stands and paid all that money to see a caution fest. Of course, suck up Mikey said on SPEED last night that NASCAR did the right thing (perhaps) and the fans had a good race between Johnson & Edwards at the end. He's such a jerk. Joan
It's 5:21 and I am leaving for the weekend - I can't believe Robby couldn't get his Dodge over 164.684 mph, even Bill Elliott was faster. I don't know if it's the engines or what's going on at RGM, but his qualifying is getting worse - not better.Joan
Oh Drat- here we go again - rain has washed out cup qualifying that means RG starts 39th and on a road course that is deadly. I hope Walter can use strategy to get Robby out front ASAP. I was hoping for a good starting position to help RG win this time. Hope we have something to cheer about on Monday. Have a good weekend. Joan
Hi r-699 (what is your first name?) I thought Chris, but was not sure. Funny story about the earplug! I was disappointed with RG's efforts, he has dropped to 31st in points after improving to 29th just a few races ago. I have no idea what is going on with the team, I think he sould make up with Frank Kerr and get him back proto. Also about that quote on Fuel mileage RG made - all I have to say to that is WHAT??? (If I want to know how many laps I get ona gallon - put in one gallon and run around counting laps till you run out) NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. Joan
Hi Kathie - I notced when he was interviewed, he had a large red bump on his right forehead, like he wacked it or was in a fight - maybe he should have a Dr. check him out. Joan
Hello again - I read yesterday in the Charlotte Observer.com that a couple from PA drove down to Waltrip's shop and got married there. Although Mikey was not in attendance, he had them come to Pocono and meet him and some of the drivers, etc. ... Some Honeymoon. Joan
HI Kathie - must repeat your dog is so cute. Bad day at Michigan 37th. I have no idea what's going on - he had a good staring position and next thing you know he's laps down. Go figure. Cousin Carl did well, glad the Shrub didn't win - that was the good news, he will make a horrible champion - Kyle's attitude sucks. Joan
Hi Kathie - Ian told me what happened - they had an electrical fire which put them a lap down, then one bad pit stop under green put them a 2nd lap down. I wish Robby could get that little black cloud that is following him to go away. Watched Mikey last night some fan gave him a furry monkey and he had it in his car and ran well with a good finish - Maybe RG needs one of us to give him some kind of voodoo or good luck charm and get that cloud dissolved. Joan
Hi Kathie - well it's Thursday and Bristol is looming on the horizon. I've been reading the other blogs, about GEM giving RG only engines and no help w/tech or promotion. I knew that was a bad deal. Don't know what part RG played in that amendment. Maybe he thought the wasn't getting enough bang for his buck. No idea, they keep very quiet about what is going on. Let's pray for a good finsih this weekend. He can't afford to loose Jim Beam as a sponsor. Joan
Best of luck in your new home. I hated it for Robby this weekend. He had two new sponsors and crashed. I know that's Bristol, but I felt so bad for him. Joan
Hi are you moved yet? I know what a pain that is. I read on RG's home page that they did kinda get the mess fixed and he ran for a time with no front end in order to pick up positions, but was black-flagged for slow diriving. He is struggling SO HARD to stay in the top 35. Joan
Hi Kathie - I shot an e-mail to Marchetta at Team Gordon re: hope they (everyone Robby, crew and staff) were not flooded out. Saw a photo in Charlotte Observer of a home in Huntersville with water halfway up the front door. Flooding was really bad. The cleanup is horrible. Well it's going to be hot in Calif. Robby's used to it, hope he does well. Keep in touch. Joan
Hi Kathie - I know I left a message yesterday, but wishing you a good weekend and a nice Labor Day. Qualifying is later tonight, so I can sit and have a glass of wine while watching. Marchetta answered my e-mail and shop and homes came through unscathed - good news. Have a GREAT HOLIDY. Joan
Hi Kathie - Holiday over!!! Back to the old grind. Read where Robby has Jim Beam Operation Homefront on the car this week. Will watch qualifying with fingers crossed. He is now 31st in points, can'f afford to fall out of the top 35 or every week he will have to qualify into the race that would be a real BUMMER.Joan
Hey, just stopping by to say "Hi". You have some great pics of Robby that I have never seen before. the one with his dad is terrific. I've seen them together but not id such a close up pic. I wondered the other day , who he looked more like, Mom or Dad and you just answered that for me.Saw your comment about
" Marchetta" have you ever met her? She will kill him quick, show no mercy and his problems are history, lol She's a hard working lady and has a sense of humor, but i doubt she would give him any slack on that statement, if it is true. well so much for "hi", take care, Chris
Hi Kathie, are you one of the lucky Planet people heading to New England this weekend. I sure hope RG makes the race. Though the attendees will have a great time regardless if he goes home early. New CC this week - we will see what happens Chase is on - I'm not in favor of KB or CE winning. I'd like to see one of the Childress guys or Jr. win the title. Joan
Hi - sorry I haven't posted you in a while. I AM SO JEALOUS of the Planet people who got together at Mouseking's house last weekend. Sarah said Robby came to the table a couple of time and they had "quality time" with him. I am sitting here GREEEN!
Joan
Hi Kathie - did you see the photos on the main page and on Pathfinder's page?? Robby looked great and they had a lot of one-on-one time with him (due to poor turnout) - that last part not so good, Robby should promote, promote, but I have said that before. Where are you living now, sounds nice, but beware to snakes. My fried lives in the poconos and she only has had one bear and a lot of deer to contend with. They tend to eat the garden. Joan
Good morning Miss SNAKE in the garage....EEEKKKK!!! i would have pooped blue, then fainted. I hate snakes, they just scare the pudding out of me.It takes a while to get a new house to come together..you need to get the feel of it first..I don't remember, (wait til you get my age, something suddenly happens to your brain/memory, lol) did you build the house??? When we built ours I bet it took me three months before i didn't bump into a wall on the way to the bathroom, just because of the floor plan change, lol. Hope things are as they seem..... getting better for Robby and the team. The last two weeks were decent...Have a great week, and don't worry, everything will come together in time with the house.Relax and enjoy that "new"smell because it's over when you tell you husband, I think --------needs painting, lol take care,Chris
Hi wow it's Friday already and I've been so busy didn't have time to post to a lot of people. Hope you are well and getting boxes unpacked. No more snakes I hope. Today is qualifying - glad they aren't at Dover this week would be rained out. Keep in touch and have a good weekend. Joan
OMG it's 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Hi weekend was OK, wish RG had done better. He has got to get a good finish next week and miss the big one!!! My post on the worst drivers was taken off then I lost the link and it read the site was taken off, I told TOG he scared me to death. This is the only sanity I have at work (am eating lunch now) Take care - will post later this week. Joan
Hi - It's Tues and official, but I still don't understand why an 8th place finish at Dega did not bring RG up in the points. That just plain sucks. Joan
Hey Kathie - did you get an e-mail re: joining nine lives on hot pass??? Who is this guy - trying to lure us from the Planet?? I don't intend to defect. Joan
I found out that Jeremy Losaw started it - BOP and some others are there. Bobby Allison just entered their world and has a page and a hot pass link. Don't know why RG is still 35th in points after a top ten. No one gave me any explanation (I asked). Have been busy this week, not much time to post, but had to say hello to you. See what RG does this weekend - fingers crossed. Joan
Hope you had a good time and time with Robby. I was heartbroken on that pit stop and then he blew that tire . He really had a good run going. It was odd though - they never film him in the pits and this time it was almost like they knew there would be a problem and they filmed the entire pit stop. Joan
Hey Kathie - haven't heard from you. Tell me about the race weekend! Sorry RG had a bad finish - but he's +1 int he points. Looking forward to Martinsville. Hope all is OK with you. Keep in touch. Joan
Hi Kathie - great new pics. Well I didn't nap - I was worring whether Robby would finish. He lost a gear, was 40th and I was holding my breath this a.m. when I checked the points. THANKFULLY, he is still in the top 35. Maybe it will not rain next week and he can qulify up closer to the front. I ultimately ended up rooting for Jr., but he came in 2nd. I don't want to see the "cheaters" get the title again. Joan
Hey lady!! I was looking for someone in my friends list and realized how long it has been since I posted to you. I am soooo sorry for being so lax. If I remember correctly, you were house hunting. Did that go well? Post sometime and let me know how you are. Missed you!
Hey Hey - Robby was 19th - missed some of the race, but was so happy to see him finish well. Not thrilled Carl won. Good weekend for those of us in Philly land - Eagles won, Penn State won, Phillies are ahead in World Series BUT ROBBY WAS 19TH!!!. I didn't check points today yet, but am sure he must have gained at least one spot. Hope all is well with you, I need MRI of spine - having knee & back problems, "It's always something". Joan
I hate insurance companies!! Had MRI scheduled, insurance company gave pre-cert for wrong facility. Have to start at square one. The old PT exercises are helping a little, sent for new batteries for the tens unit, haven't gotten them yet (probably another insurance issue). My Avatar on Hot Pass was troubling some, so I tried to change it - was 1/2 successful - Lil Old Lady from Pasadena has head cut off. Will try to fix it when I have hours to play with the blankey-blank computer! Joan
Hi Kathie - Do you get the "NASCAR Scene"? There is a photo on the back page (full page) of Allmendinger & Robby - Robby is hoding his hands demonstrting something and the made up quote is "I've got this big jar of change in my office, and I'm thinking about starting a secotn team ..." I wish I could post this - it's too funny. Joan
Hi Kathie - it's 9:49 on Thurs. 10/30 right now on the NASCAR.com page there is a jim beam link and video of Robby at the Atlanta race. Cool. Hope you get to see/hear it. Joan
Dulles is an hour and 15 minutes from here. Back roads of course and then the dreaded Greenway. I am heading down to Warrenton/Culpepper area next Friday night for a game. Heard it is a good team there.so I have my fingers crossed. Hope the moving is going good.
